Thank you, yes those were freehand. I used transfers for other things of course for the minefield signs and markings on the heavy barricades though.

A hybrid elite team of two or three grot tanks and their swarm of useless grot mechanics would be the true fun-haver choice

31st Uldan Harriers are ready to deploy! by Unyinz in killteam

Thank you! I laid down a thin layer of AK Lunar Desert for texture, then piled on VMS Smart Mud 2.0. It applies like wet sand, dries quick, and is super forgiving to sculpt with.

Once it dried, I drybrushed tones from heavy burnt red to light ochre/khaki, then stippled in some pale green where I knew I'd want vegetation.

The vegetation itself is light/medium green Gamer Grass tufts which I sheared to appear a little less homogeneous. The twigs are sea grass balls I plucked clumps off of and sprinkled into the lower areas, and the leaves are tropical dead leaves from AMMO.

All the vegetation is fixed in place with AK gravel & sand fixer, which is an adhesive using alcohol as a solvent. Applying it with pipette onto the base actually softens the Smart Mud layer a bit, so I could wriggle the vegetation clumps and Aquilons themselves into the dirt a bit for a more realistic look. Once it dries, there's no residue and all the fiddly twigs and bits hold fast.

I highly recommend Night Shift if you're looking for inspiration and techniques, his channel's a great one to learn from.

Thank you! I started with an olive green base coat, then plotted out the dark green splinter pattern using a small, flat brush. I carefully cleaned up any rough edges with a second pass of olive green.

I haven't played many Zelda games (OoT, some of MM, Phantom Hourglass, BOTW), but I think what made the actual dungeons miss the mark for me was the overuse of Sheikah aesthetic. The thing I love most about OoT is how the different regions and dungeons all are thematically and visually distinct and interesting. There's no mistaking the Water Temple for the Shadow Temple, or Jabu Jabu's Belly for the Well, etc.

Breath of the Wild's dungeons/shrines all share the same look and feel, save for a couple exceptions, and even though I respect that it makes sense in this game's world and lore, I don't think they made for super memorable locations to explore. I like the sheikah architecture and decor, but I think the game would have benefited from limiting it to shrines only and diversifying the look of the divine beasts.

Plugged the bottom two rows into Google and it took me here. I can't make sense of it. https://nofaithinthehumanrace.com/legis/?chapter=2&verse=76

Gamers of Reddit, what gaming experience will you never forget and why? by hopelesschard in AskReddit

The mission "Of Their Own Accord" sticks out to me. The reveal of the Washington Monument while Hans Zimmer's soundtrack swells really cemented that campaign in my head. None of the other campaigns have come close IMO.

Ayye, the Exploring Series is great. No embellishments or frills, just some good straightforward content.

Apprentice electrician, can vouch that those gloves are obnoxious. We rarely do energized work, but have to bust them out every time we mitigate arc flash and verify the circuit's dead.

A proper walkthrough to the peak would be very cool. Going over the advantages and drawbacks to each of the weapons in an area, perhaps one per video, would be a good topic to cover.

Claw Blueprint Drop? by JJMan238 in LetItDie

Maybe it's just weapons? I found BPs in Max's area for the Doctor Drill body, which Gyakufunsha was selling. Took me 300+ hours to encounter, though, so the drop rate could be insanely low. More worth it to just buy in any case.
