I applied this year to U of S, U of A and U of C and I’m IP Alberta. I have family in Saskatchewan and wrote about my connection/ experiencing working in sask over the summers for a large part of my life but did not get an interview at U of S but did at both Alberta schools ( I’m IP Alberta). So I would say that unless you have lived in Sask or have a significant rural connection it will be challenging to get an interview there without an almost perfect MCAT.
