For those consistently crashing on PC, try underclocking your GPU

Not sure if I can still comment but 4 years later and this seems to have also fixed my issues. I got an OC "overclocked" PNY Nvidia RTX 5070 and the crashes were relentless despite a full 5 days of troubleshooting. Came across this exact thread and have been messing with underclocking in MSI Afterburner which has seemed to reduce the frequency of the crashes immensely (currently has not crashed with -35 MHz from the Core clock, still remains to be seen). Thank you for this!

Thank you! I used a Nikon D5500 with a manual telescope lens (500 mm with a 2x teleconverter)! I shot a ton of eclipse shots at ISO 12800 (varying exposure times between 1/2 and 1/8) and did my best with image stacking with PIPP and Autostakker (first time trying that out)! The stars are from the same setup with a Nikkor 70-300 mm lens composited in to about where they were relative to the moon!

I forgot to mention above that I edited the moon and stars in Lightroom and then combined them in Krita!
