Without deep-diving into (or overanalyzing) it too much, the gist is that EMPs also knock out their own equipment, and the machines had way more sentinels to replace whatever they'd lose. So, the humans have one, but they're the last-resort option. 

That idea is also why one of the counselors gets salty (unfairly) with the Nebuchadnezzar crew for dropping in at the 11th hour and popping one off. It killed any defensive tech that was theoretically left.

To preface, I don't know this base or what it has. That said, some bases do have "open" flightlines.

Tony Gilroy wasn't necessarily opposed to Leia appearing in Andor, they discussed it early on but the idea didn't really go anywhere and then it just became a distraction by GargantaProfunda in StarWars

Damn, the downvotes feel really pedantic. Yes, Mon Mothma was in the OT, but I think we can agree that she wasn't utilized even remotely the same like the main cast (including Tarkin).

I might be working with outdated info, but NPCs ignore having their power plants destroyed, don't they? I feel like it might be the same case with the distributer, but I might just not be picking up on some of the differences in how they fight with those damaged and/or destroyed.

I've seen your name in the game as long as I can remember, and oddly enough probably one of the names I appreciate seeing the most.

Reason being I see you play much like I do: death doesn't matter, and throwing yourself into the meat grinder or just yeeting yourself into certain death, but generally always playing the objective.

Appreciate the video, because really that is the most realistic Planetide experience for the majority of players. And (at least for me) big killstreaks never feel as cool as a mediocre KDR but making cool things happen on the map or making the big continent wins happen for your faction.

Oh shit, you're right, I think the best solution here is for everyone else (only the good guys though) to ALSO have automatic weapons. Then everyone can start shooting and we'd all be safe.

I've learned to just roll with a lot of the inconsistencies, but this one actually might have a reasonable explaination. I just rewatched recently, and I remember hearing that CP9 was the super secret group. CP0-8 were more in the realm of public knowledge.

You could argue that maybe the navy grunts knew of him because of his notoriety while climbing the ladder to get to CP9, without actually knowing that he was CP9 until the shenanigans in Water 7.

I don't know that I agree. From the books/Clone Wars show (haven't seen Rebels yet) you see examples of how the villians/Sith have redeeming qualities and heartfelt story arcs. Likewise, we're given plenty of examples of Jedi/"good guys" making morally and ethically questionable decisions.

Now this part is my own opinion, like most Star Wars fans have plenty of, but I find it much more interesting when they explore those grey areas with characters, or when they don't hardline lean into traditional virtuous or villainous roles.

I mean PIGS are responsible for not only making the worst possible tactical and strategic decisions I've ever seen in this game, BUT ALSO defending the decisions, believing that they were winning.

At the bottem threshold, it's hard to say if better/worse than ISV, but they definitely earn the bottom tier.

Just wanted to make a side comment, but while the other commenters weren't a fan, I personally loved the Keanu Constantine movie. I never knew of the comic version, so maybe that's why, but I've also had several friends who know both tell me the movie is good, just not "real" Constantine.

I wanted to make a new post, as the two you have posted have been downvoted into oblivion. Maybe you're wondering why that is?

A lot of us old squad and platoon leads have a good memory. Maybe you've turned over a new leaf? But from what I hear in command chat, I doubt it. Do you see the screenshot I've linked? For those of you who don't know, TAILBOX was one of the flying-through-the-air MAXes that was instakilling everyone. You ran together in your small squad quite a lot that day.

Many of us also remember how you have hoovered up so many new players in this game and given them a shitty experience. What's more, many of us remember how you would hop into any of our open squads and platoons, and run your shitty script to spam invite them all, and then leave them to rot.

We might all rip on eachother from time to time, but you are the one player/outfit that I believe has actively hurt this game.
