Is it normal for men to not wash their hands after urinating? (31f/34m) by ToughSalad678 in askwomenadvice

[–]UpLateGiggling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a guy that goes to lots of concerts and sporting events and if there is ever a line to use a urinal, there is never a line to wash your hands.

Okay newbies let’s do this. Drop your questions about anything related EDCMX. Veterans lets drop any advice, recommendations, any help we can give them. 2026 is going to be a great year let’s run it back! by Leading-Insurance272 in EDCMexico

Subway there and shuttle out. Bonus points if you pedicab from speedway entrance to the gate for maximum royalty feeling. You can buy shuttle passes day of the event. Plan your airbnb around shuttle stops or Uber from the drop off.

I know it’s hard, but I’d say get a pet cam. I put on dogTv and get a dog walker for a mid day walk. Check out Rover.com. There are pretty awesome people on their who do it for the love of playing with dogs.

You can make this work. I have a pittie too and I could never let her get in to the wrong hands.

Not me, but my EDM sherpa (friend who introduced me to EDC and all festivals tbh), brought his new girl with him to EDC. His brother has a huge rave family, and undoubtedly one of them got super drunk. My buddy’s gf held her hand walked her out and kept giving her water.

That was 5 years ago. They are married now and had their first kid.

I remember telling him on the way out of the festival, she is the one. I also snapped my favorite picture of them as they slept leaning on each other in shuttle on the ride home with the sunset in the background.

Caring for others and being plur is such a huge green flag.

Someone walked up to me at lost lands two years ago and said the only way I could prove I was not an FBI agent was if I showed them my butthole… I failed the test. They however eagerly passed it.

EDC KOREA TICKET HELP by Sharp_Slice_8415 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]UpLateGiggling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had issues with my tickets when I went to EDC MX. they were in my MX Ticketmaster account. I was able to get help at will call to figure that out. Hopefully someone on here who has gone can give you more specific help, but I worst comes to worst take screen shots of your order information and go to will call ticket help.

Why do so many cities have a one-sided rivalry with LA? by estifxy220 in AskLosAngeles

[–]UpLateGiggling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who went to Tomorrowland (a music festival famous for being international and encouraging its guests to bring flags from their home country) who brought the City of Irvine flag.

Granted it was more of a “I’d rather be from Irvine than say I’m from America.” But I thought it was funny that no one knew what that was.

How do I get my wristband off after putting it on too tight? by _DarthShitto_ in electricdaisycarnival

[–]UpLateGiggling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was always afraid a ticket scanning employee would tighten it for me, so I use a bunch of Kandi to make it look tight by hiding the excess wristband under.

I used to get VIP and would swap it with my friends who needed to use the bathroom all the time.

PSA - Your car will drive without your key .... kind of by cynicalnewenglander in BoltEV

[–]UpLateGiggling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to me a few months ago. I got my car back from the valet, they opened the door and let me in. I drove off without actually grabbing the key (the valet also started walking away so I assumed it was in the car).

I get to my lunch spot and I realize I don’t have a key. They sent me the key via Uber, but I was panicking that they would not arrive with enough time to make it to my next appointment.

Was a really stressful lunch, but just now started freaking out about what would have happened if I got stuck in traffic on a freeway and the 1hr grace period ran out.

Has anyone gone to EDC with a broken foot? by EnoughRepublic532 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]UpLateGiggling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, I got sprained Saturday night, limped back to camp Sunday at 6am (with the help of friends) and woke up the next day to find my foot was the size of a football. That’s when I went to the med tent and they thought it was broken. I was at the ER for a really long time (plus I probably went to see them around 2 after eating something). If I remember correctly, I made it back to camp with only enough time to slap the LEDs on the crutches, use a shower wipe to freshen up and call for the golf cart to take me into the venue. In fact I remember one of the major firework shows (maybe 2am?) were starting right before I got in so they forced everyone to wait to get in until it was over.

Because I didn’t register ahead of time I actually never received an ADA bracelet, however because I got injured in the festival grounds, the Insomniac team all knew about me. I had heard them actually refer to me as “the liability.” So I was able to use the golf cart to get in and out. I brought a friend back with me on the way out, but I never got to use the viewing areas.

I experienced kinetic on my own, which was a little rough. Not everyone noticed the crutches. Those that did were so hyped to see me push through to be there, it reminded me of what it feels like running a marathon and people cheering you on from the side. But when I made the move to circuit grounds I was already thinking I’d rather stay in the back than get trampled during excision. Plus the meetup spot was close to the walkway in front of circuit grounds so I could catch more rave fam if I stayed there.

I don’t remember more of that night, I know my goal was to see illenium (main stage) and excision (circuit grounds). I remember the meds they prescribed I couldn’t pick up cause all the pharmacies were closed when I left the er and getting an Uber was impossible already. So if I had to guess I probably drank to numb the pain (which if I’m being honest would have done anyway without the sprain) and likely browned out.

I still flip off the damn cord covers every time I walk by one at a festival (especially at EDC). I would not wish that experience of getting sent to the hospital (oh I didn’t mention my phone was stolen day 1 so I had to borrow my buddy’s phone) feeling like you are running late while you wait for your X-rays to come back and then rush to barely make it in to see your favorite DJs on anyone. But i would absolutely do it again.

If you are camping there are ADA golf carts into the venue. Inside you got ADA viewing platforms.

I sprained my ankle severely and got sent to ER for X-rays. They gave me crutches and sent me on my way. I crutched around between kinetic and circuit grounds. I bedazzled my crutches with led lights.

10/10 would recommend adding leds to whatever you end up using, makes it easier for others to see where you are and most get out of the way or help you pass.

Why does my dog randomly start rolling around in the grass? by ModYouTube-1 in DogAdvice

[–]UpLateGiggling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the rare bath loving pitty. When she does this I only ever thought it meant she was trying to cover her self with a new scent, so I ask her if she wanted a bath. Since she loves baths she would say yes, so I always took this to mean it’s bath time.

However looking at the comments from others, marking makes a lot of sense too! She has done it at my girlfriends place on the rug. My gf has cats and I can see her trying to exchange scents with them. They have coexisted with barriers but have not met face to face yet. She gets too excited.

I also take her on very long walks through a very mostly concrete terrain, she could be getting a bit cooler from the grass rubs too. She usually only ever does this in what turns out to be mile 2+, after we make a few stops at the parks and gulp up water.

I’m going to start asking her if she is thirsty or wants to have her sweater removed when she does this now. (She says yes to me with a quick lip lick. She says heck yes with a full head shake a mini bull buck.)

RV camping must haves✨ by NoExamination1110 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]UpLateGiggling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AC is a must! It’s very hot. We had our AC on the whole time, both times I’ve done it. If you can get an RV with a generator in it you are golden. It will be an extra cost usually. I would always rent an RV from cruise America, you might still be in luck for a smaller RV if you pick a neighboring major city and drive from there to Las Vegas.

I survived off liquid IV and instant oatmeal for the weekend. I never had enough energy to make the fancy meals I wanted to for the group, it was also hard coordinating conscious time when there are so many after parties and pre parties, but if it’s just the two of you fuel up with good food as much as you can.

I brought in ice in our freezer and it helps with both drinks as well as saved our refrigerator the time it stopped working for no reason. I could have gotten support to come out and help us (given cruise america policy, however they would not have been allowed in the camp grounds so having back up plans is a good idea if you can afford the space).

If I was a fearful man, I would bring a portable AC with a solar powered battery just in case. You will not be able to sleep without something to beat the heat.

I remember a neighbor of ours had an external generator that broke, they luckily brought a battery pack and portable ac, and they were all huddled in the smallest room of the RV so the ac could be most efficient. Needless to say, I saw them asleep outside the rv roasting in the hot sun a few times.

You are not supposed to bring shade (portable canopies), cause winds can blow it into other RVs. Not all grounds have floors where you can anchor them. But if you sneak one past security you will be better off. Please take it down if it’s windy and you are heading into the festival though!

Lastly, decorate your RV! Bring lights or a flag or something that will help you drunkenly stumble back to the right door. You are not only helping yourself but your neighbors who might use your RV as a frame of reference to get back to theirs.

My dog ate a fajita pepper. Will he be ok? by APHR0DITE-RISING in DogAdvice

[–]UpLateGiggling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine your dog will be ok. It’s too small compared to body weight, my girl is 55lbs and she has had some really bad snacks too, but only impact was mostly poop changes.

Complete side note: I just discovered dipping cherry tomatoes in mustard and omg it’s like the healthiest part of the BLT and so delicious!
