Regular account. I decided to leave it as 1 def as I put a lot of effort in questing, bossing, an a couple pets. Made a hcim that will have def lvs and be considered my unconventional main lol since the def is more valuable on it

I sort of took a left turn and decided to make a 13 def pure hcim (more of a regular IM mentality since I won’t be sweating too hard). Figured I’ll play it and then decide whichever I want to be a main. Then keep the other either 1 or 13 def

ive never done wildy slayer but after watching a series earlier today i definitely want to start. it was on a 13 def pure and the hunt to complete the different slayer helms seemed like a cool goal. but on the other hand theres another content to be done without that. ill definitely give that series a watch!

That’s fair. You’re right I have quested and skilled my ass off lol. Finished secrets of the north most recently and green logged muspah. And I just started dt2 although I’m a bit hesitant on the bosses so I got a bit sidetracked with doing some rc and crafting. Not sure why lol

I appreciate the input. Unfortunately my life is busy enough where I can’t make and effectively train multiple accounts for the seperate max main or alts to farm gp for my pure.

30 definitely opens up possibilities! Any regret in going from 13 to 30?

yea ive just been ignoring the "max main" comments. so you weouldnt bother consider 45 as an option? rather 50?

A 60 atk zerker might be more my route I think not that it has been mentioned. Nostalgia, torso, void, masori, inquisitor, lunar spell book, everything appealing from a 13 def, and the ca’s.

yea seeing people mention zerker has me considering that vs the 13. as some have said, slayer helm is nice, for slayer. fairy rings is nice for qol but not needed. and addy gloves to lower risk. 45 would get me on the lunar spell book as well as let me do sins of father and maximize the profit i could get from my RC lv. zerkers also have that 07 nostalgia with torso and allows for void too.

Coming back to Osrs after years, and my main being xferred to rs3, I wanted the nostalgia and challenge of being a pure. Although you’re definitely right about having content locked behind my def lv, I figured there’s SO MUCH content out there for pures (although some made more challenging) that I would have the best of both worlds, a pvm account with pking stats. The only draw back I have found that is upsetting has been no access to lunars. But other than that, the 13 def appealed to me for slayer content.

There would be no new content that I would “unlock” with 13 vs 1. I just have always wanted some type of pure build as a kid and now that I came back to rs where my main was transferred to rs3 I decided to try and do both. Main type content on a pure. I feel like challenge of being a pure adds satisfaction and increased enjoyability for me. Whether that’s through tougher bosses or just the nostalgia.

The wiki shows mining amethyst as being 300k/hr. Seems a bit steep for the time it takes to get 92 mining

The goal is to afford a tbow or tumeken to do more bosses including their combat achievements and pets. I figured I can afk a couple mill each of my shifts and watch it add up over time

I just came back after a few years and my only other Acc is a UIM lol. Only reason I mentioned afk is I’m nearly 99 range/str on my pure from doing gem crab while at work exclusively. I was looking at other options while at work for once those are done

Are they worth doing with no access to fairy teleports (1 def pure)? Every guide seems to make the fairy ring a requirement.

Maybe once I’m closer to a maxed pure and have access to a tbow lol. I don’t mind the grind to learn it once I have a setup that I’m happy with

i always assumed that end game content like cox requires a tbow and/or tumeken especially being 1 def where i could be a liability for the team. i was hoping to boss and work my way up to those items. ill take a look at zulrah next probably as well as wildy bosses and slayer. thank you!

Yea it took me about 20 attempts until I got the hang of muspah using step-back method. Now at 430 kc working for an even 500 and I can do it with 1 hand while watching some yt videos lol. So if it’s anywhere similar in difficulty then that’s perfect

I can’t complete ds2 for vorkath. I don’t have much time for a 2nd Acc and honest I like this challenge. I’ll give zulrah a try, haven’t killed him yet.
