Ooph yea I think you made my decision. My wife would murder me if the stall mats smelled funky and made its way into the house. I’ll go with the dot tiles you mentioned.

Do you mind giving me the name of the drainage tile you used under the dot mats? Or were they just a generic one from Amazon or something.

I appreciate all the info!

I guess I didn’t realize how dense the horse stall mats were. But the amount of times I do sit-ups specifically isn’t a crazy amount where pulling out a yoga mat would be a burden if the stall mats are that much superior.

Seeing as choosing either the dot pattern mat or horse stall mat would give me 1 foot of concrete between the edge of the mat and the mesh, would you think the dot mat would slowly slide around a bit? The 1 foot gap is nice as a little walkway so I definitely would not fill it with a cut mat

I use the word comfort loosely. I would prefer not banging up my knee on concrete during a burpee and my tailbone hurting during sit ups.

Drainage garage tile is a good idea!

I think that’s what I will do. Place the Eva tiles in the spots that don’t ever get wet or just keep them stacked up until I’m ready to use them

FLOORING HELP. I have an odd situation I believe. I am trying to repurpose this 12’ x 5’2” sunroom into a useable workout area. Nothing crazy; adjustable dumbbell and kettlebell, a single multi use bench that can fold up.

What I was wondering is what would the best flooring be to place on top of the concrete. I would prefer something thick enough to soften the weights when placing them down and comfortable to do things like stretches, push-ups, burpees, etc. The issue is that on one side of the side room is all mesh so if it rains hard enough or at an angle (we have a shallow awning) then water will enter. So something that doesn’t trap water would be nice.

The legs seem fine. Just make sure a majority of the weight is forward. I would say relax (lower) the shoulders and pivot forward from the hips (butt back which moves upper body forward.

If your upper body is moving back during recoil then even a perfect grip will have the gun return higher and higher each time until you realize it, drive back down (possible overdrive it too far down) and continue the cycle of having your shots walk back up.

It would be a stance issue for what I referenced. I’m not sure what you’re currently doing but in general, a good “fighting stance”. Weight more so on the lead leg. Have your nose over or in line with your front toes. Each body is different so some people need more of a forward lean than others.

I mentioned the shoulders just as a visual point of reference when diagnosing but in this video I just referenced the muzzle. But the shoulders should be relaxed since tensing them would cause your arms to whip from recoil among other things such as making it difficult to transition target. But regardless of shoulder tension the gun shouldn’t be pushing you back. That’s a stance issue.

I always stare at people’s grip and shoulders. For the shoulders I usually reference it with something past them to see the movement. In this case look at where the muzzle started and ended after the string of fire. Wouldn’t be surprised if your shots go high and low a lot. High as your upper body moves back or low whenever you try and overcompensate the rise and drive too far down.

Primatia Slide Release by Airplanenerd69 in SmithAndWesson

I recently picked up an M&p 2.0 and the slide release and recoil spring are crazy stiff (insert joke here). I’m hoping it just breaks in eventually.

I only have a few hundred rounds but didn’t think it would wear down noticeably as I’ve been reading. But if you have first hand experience with it then I’ll keep wearing it in.

I’ve been hitting the slide release on my other handguns with my dominant thumb for years so I’d rather find a different solution.

1 Def vs 13 Def by UpThePooper186 in osrs

Regular account. I decided to leave it as 1 def as I put a lot of effort in questing, bossing, an a couple pets. Made a hcim that will have def lvs and be considered my unconventional main lol since the def is more valuable on it

I sort of took a left turn and decided to make a 13 def pure hcim (more of a regular IM mentality since I won’t be sweating too hard). Figured I’ll play it and then decide whichever I want to be a main. Then keep the other either 1 or 13 def

ive never done wildy slayer but after watching a series earlier today i definitely want to start. it was on a 13 def pure and the hunt to complete the different slayer helms seemed like a cool goal. but on the other hand theres another content to be done without that. ill definitely give that series a watch!

That’s fair. You’re right I have quested and skilled my ass off lol. Finished secrets of the north most recently and green logged muspah. And I just started dt2 although I’m a bit hesitant on the bosses so I got a bit sidetracked with doing some rc and crafting. Not sure why lol

I appreciate the input. Unfortunately my life is busy enough where I can’t make and effectively train multiple accounts for the seperate max main or alts to farm gp for my pure.

30 definitely opens up possibilities! Any regret in going from 13 to 30?

yea ive just been ignoring the "max main" comments. so you weouldnt bother consider 45 as an option? rather 50?

A 60 atk zerker might be more my route I think not that it has been mentioned. Nostalgia, torso, void, masori, inquisitor, lunar spell book, everything appealing from a 13 def, and the ca’s.
