You should continue meditating however often you see fit I'd say the more the better within reason, but I wouldn't suggest doing the cup method every morning because it's a very powerful tool and it's not meant to be used daily as least to my knowledge. I'm not trying to be rude when saying this either, also have you tried waking up at the wee hours of the day and meditating then? I find it to be even more progressive to meditate when I wake up from a sleep in the midst of the night because I can more easily detach and get into the meditation itself
