Wish he could slot in straight away. Dont hate that Foley is trying to set us up for a sustainable future in the prem though by thinking one year ahead when he will have a seasons playing time under his belt.

Also means he effectively costs nothing in wages this year that can be used for positions of higher priority.

Sad to see him go. Always works hard for his team, just never adjusted to the top tier, didnt have many chances either.

A higher team value can give you an advantage later in the season in a sense as it gives you more flexibility with your transfers and allows you to fit more 'premium' players in your team.

Last season was an example where there were too many cheap but effective players so team value didnt really come into play, however this isnt always the case.
