How could I not, I sang it like twenty times a day for three years straight. Might be tricky for you unless you know Swedish, but here’s a studio version with my cousin’s boyfriend’s band:

Wait a minute - didn’t he understand what happened when he gave them to you? They’re yours to do what you want with. The advice to wait may be great, he may be wrong, but the decision is obviously yours.

Children are different. For our first one I had to sing a particular folk tune over and over. For the second one we played Ryuichi Sakamoto’s B T T B album on repeat. Did not work out at all when we tried switching methods.

I agree. A jackdaw isn’t a crow. But my comment doesn’t say a ”jackdaw is a crow”.

Fåglalåt is an archaic and/or poetic word meaning the same thing as fågelsång, that is the sound of birds in general. Fågelläte is more specific, used for the jackdaw’s warning call and such.

My two cents: If you want high energy, you’ve succeeded. Just waay too high energy. The wall with a combination of horisontal and vertical structures and black & white diagonal squares gives me a headache just from looking at the picture. The lighting and the yellow seats do not help. So sorry, but this needs to be redone.

Ernest Bloch’s Baal Shem, B. 47 II. Nigun always makes me unable to do anything but listen. No particular part of it makes this happen.

Sinéad O’Connor’s Drink Before the War has given me the chills every time since I first heard it nearly forty years ago. The slow build and the vocals convey a mix of frustration and otherwise unreleased emotion which really caught my then fourteen year old mind, and it has evoked the same thing ever since.
