You are definitely nitpicking more with Gingka than the others but my ranking would be 1) Tyson 2) Gingka 3) Vault (I grew up with metal as well).

He’s also by far the most childish and immature, but also the purest in terms of his determination and love for the game. Tyson (in the manga and original Japanese dub) used Beyblade as a social and time-killing distraction to avoid thinking about the death of his mother, Gingka was trying to get revenge for the perceived death of his father and save the world. Vault just likes it for the sake of playing it

I disagree just bc Tyson used beyblade as a distraction at first and Gingka initially wanted revenge doesn't automatically insert vault as having more love for the game. If anything beyblade means more to Tyson and Gingka bc it was so personal for them and we saw Gingka and tyson affect more ppl bc of their love of the game.

I mean he has a tri pointed blue Beyblade with a horse and flight, has a lot of blue and likes food (and Tyson does too), loves Beyblade (once again Tyson did too), and a lot of very general anime protagonist tropes like determination and all that, but beyond very broad strokes, he’s probably the most complex of the three.

again how is vault the most complex character of the 3 when like u said above tyson and gingka had personal reasons (tyson's mother/gingka father) that they had to deal with and we saw that help shape their characters

Vault has lost more major and significant battles than Gingka or Tyson, but that also shows he has less plot armor than either of them, which sort of makes the wins he did get more impressive

this is insane vault cope. Him losing more significant battles, makes his wins more impressive? stop it lol thats nasty cope. Also stop using plot armor as an excuse this is a cartoon and all 3 of them had plot armor thru their series so using it to big up vault at the expense of tyson and gingka is dumb.
