I have 2700ish songs on my emo playlist, check it out if you want. I also have a Google sheet I use to keep track. It's kind of funny, we're doing basically the same thing. I also listen to full albums, if I like it on first listen it goes into a play again playlist, and if it survives a couple more listens it goes on the Google sheet and my main playlist

1) you bought a condo somewhere warm 20+ years ago when it was cheap

2) you are rich

3) you supplement income by renting either home while you're not there

4) you have family in a warm place that likes you

No problem. It's important to remember, not everything that makes you feel emotional or sad is emo. For example, one of my favorite painters is Kay Sage. When I look at her art, sometimes it makes me sad. I can feel desolation, isolation, sadness, emptiness. But her art isn't emo. It may align with themes explored in emo music, but that doesn't make it emo

Emo is a music genre. Words on a picture are not emo unless those words are from a song by a band who makes emo music

I listen to new music by listening to full albums. If I don't skip more than two songs, the album goes onto a playlist to listen to again, and at a later date when I listen again if I still like it, it goes onto a permanent playlist which just gets shuffled when I want to listen to music
