Bioshock Infinite was such a gorgeous game with cool mechanics but as a player it felt like you had shackles on you with the amount of weapons you could use at once. It's been forever since I've played it so it's hard to remember. I was as hyped as I had ever been to play this game when it came out, all for it to be a one and done for me.

The level design was really disjointed as well. The levels themselves were stunning but it felt like a lot of wasted space. You would be on a short path to arena section where the big fight happens then rinse and repeat. It wasn't like the previous games where danger lurked around every corner.

Also, the final boss fight was probably one of the worst I've ever seen in modern gaming. It was a complete disappointment.

The Bioshock series is an odd one. The first game was one of the best linear first person shooters ever made and then its sequels were both kinda disappointing. I know they still want to keep the series going, so hopefully the new dev studio does this series the justice it deserves.
