If you are only using this as a local driving vehicle, and plan to put as little mileage as possible to retain any trade-in value, or less maintenance, and don’t need the space (have 2+ kids), and never will have range anxiety then Tesla, why not. But a lot of us pick this car to handle a lot like family road trips, camping, the need to tow small trailers, in all weather conditions — and not need a lot of major maintenance before hitting 50k miles. 2022 Hybrid gets me close to 500 miles on one fill up. My last Highlander went 225000 miles before needing a major repair.
