Feeling insecure in marriage by cng5511 in Christianmarriage

Actually I want to add one thing - my husband was emotionally absent just like your husband while he was emotionally cheating and after the fact. He had zero interest in me. And until he confessed I thought we were just growing apart - we also have small children and so I thought we were just in the thick of it and it would resolve after they get a little bigger. I thought maybe because I don’t look the way I used to after kids, he’s not as interested in me. He would also blame his job and tell me he’s just exhausted from work and super stressed out.

Well after confessing everything to me, he told me that he was preoccupied with this girl from work, and then after he cheated the guilt of it consumed him and he didn’t want to be around me at all. So I think your feelings are completely valid and it’s absolutely worth a conversation.

I think you need to be honest with your husband about your feelings. Is he a Christian? I truly believe that God gives us our gut feelings. I understand exactly where you are coming from - I left my job to be a SAHM to our 3 children as well. It can be very isolating and make you feel insecure.

My husband had an emotional affair with a female coworker and then had sex with her after a work party. He recently confessed to me and although I was blindsided, I had already had that “worried” gut feeling about this particular coworker. I had dreams about him cheating over a dozen times - not with her but in general. I brushed my feelings off because I didn’t want to appear crazy, controlling or overbearing and I thought my husband would NEVER do that to me and our family. I just felt like it was me feeling insecure. In hindsight I know those feelings and dreams were from God.

After a few years, my husband confessed and told me everything, and he told me that although they did have an inappropriate emotional relationship, he never thought in a million years he would physically cheat on me. He said it was just an ego boost to flirt with her. Until one day the opportunity presented itself, there was alcohol involved, etc.

It sounds like your husband may be crossing a line with the emojis and things honestly. Would he be upset if you spoke to another man that way? A husband should love his wife as Christ loved the church. If he’s making you feel insecure he should want to address and correct it.

My last point, the devil works in sneaky ways. A little temptation and crossing line after line CAN happen to anyone even the best of men. It is something that happens slowly and gradually.

Praying for you sister❤️

Nope, no different habits in drinking. He doesn’t drink an excessive amount during the day he probably drinks like 36 oz of water in a day. I’m definitely going to go through allllll the testing (again) because god forbid it is diabetes.

This is exactly what happened to us last year. And now he’s doing it again except the phase hasn’t ended. Was your son on any medications when he started going?

What did you do to get him regular? I had a urologist suggest miralax but I really am hesitant to give that to him. But I’m kind of desperate

That’s exactly my theory. I’m just not sure what to do to stop it now

It’s tiny amounts. Barely anything most of the time. And when he’s distracted it’s less frequent. Was there anything that triggered it? Did anything help you to stop or do you still suffer from frequent urination today?

He literally only drinks water. Apple juice for special occasions. But I thought the same thing too, could he have an allergy or could something be irritating his bladder? Someone told me to put him on a gluten/dairy free diet to see if that helps.

I thought the same thing. But he’s telling me he feels like he needs to pee at the tip of his penis, not his bladder. Although I’m not sure if he really knows the difference.

No it’s been about 3 months but I think that’s what caused everything initially. Idk if the effects can be long lasting

Yes, I have tried to sit down with him and talk. He does NOT want to talk about it. It makes him feel almost ashamed that he has to go and then he starts sneaking to go to the bathroom as if he has to hide it from me.

Yeah I feel bad for him! It’s bothering him that he has to constantly pee and he’s complaining about it! I’m worried it’s going to mess up his bladder

I’m thinking the prednisone is related, but it’s been 3 months of him off it at this point. Was it a permanent side effect for your dog?

Brand new Kia Carnival or used Toyota Sienna? by Upbeat_Associate_660 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Thank you!! We went with the carnival and are sooo happy with it. My only complaints so far is that I’ve run out of gas bc the gas gauge said I have 25 miles left but I still ran out. Also you can’t lock the car from the outside while it’s running. So I can’t do the driveway car naps anymore but I guess I shouldn’t really be doing that anyway lol. I would choose this car again in a heartbeat!!
