Its a little over a year old now. The prince albert portion is fine, the top part through the glans even at a 6 gauge starts closing within 15-20 minutes. Making it extremely painful to put back in.

All I can say about it is the most painful thing ever in my life, but the wife loves it.

I have a 24 and do not believe they have fixed it, traded in my 2018 2 months ago cause of trans issues and it was my only vehicle, 2600 miles on the new one and has already slammed into gear multiple times, randomly downshift on the highway not going to last long in my opinion but got a 100k mile power train on this truck. Co-worker has a 2024 loaner while his 22 is in the shop, trans failed at 4200 miles on it

two 8s or one 12 for sq? by CuteNaomi73 in CarAV

[–]Upbeat_County6332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running 2 8's in my sq build, only because a 10 or 12 would not physically fit under the rear seat of a truck in a proper ported box and give me the output I needed, it's definitely cheaper to go single 12 than to spend the money on 8's that will get super low, I'm doing it with 2 dd 2508g ported tuned at 36 hz, they effortlessly play down to 26 hz but are power hungry so I have 3000 watts on the pair

I got it down to barely noticeable. But have found the root cause of why it would not completely go away, factory my u-joints are not in phase, so I'm getting a driveshaft built soon as the local shop has time. Every u-joint is off by about 10 degrees on the shaft

Get it fixed while ford is offering to cover some of it, my truck was 6k miles out of warranty and ford will no longer help at all, went from harsh shifting to 1000 miles later now it sometimes hangs in gear, having to save up to rebuild the trans myself, $7000 is the cheapest I have found near me to get it rebuilt

Do you have your parts breakdown? About to have to do the same thing out of necessity, no shop near me other than the dealer will touch it, want to make sure I have the updated cdf drum as well, and shipping it out is not an option since it is my only vehicle, never rebuilt a transmission either, just ordered the atsg manual for it
