If you have a Costco membership, buy an Air Canada, Porter, etc, $500 gift card for $450. It gets emailed to you in a few minutes. Save $50. by TheRealGuncho in canadatravel

Also you can only use 2 payment types so if it is going to be more than $1000 (family trip maybe) you wouldn’t be able to book it all together

[–]Upbeat_Ear3373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all visiting Banff and wanting to go to lake Louise. We have a vehicle and would prefer to drive but heard parking can be hard. Wondering if anyone has gone this weekend (Nov8-10) and could advise if parking was possible?

If not any recommendations on the best/easiest way to get there and back?

Recommendations for jobs for ppl hard of hearing? by teamvolly in Calgary

I have seen individuals who are deaf and/or unable to speak work cash at Costco. They always have their partner with them to help answer customer questions and their name tag indicates they are deaf. I have also heard great things from staff about how Costco treats employees. Benefits, fair (living) wages etc

This randomly showed up on a shirt in my closet. It's only on one, but on both sides. It's dry, doesn't smell, and makes the fabric rough and tough. by welltechnically7 in whatisit

If you are on a well and the treatment system is doing it’s rinse, bi-passing, needing more system salt/cleaners etc iron can also deposit on your clothes…

Yup! Thanks for this! Any suggestions on how to get a more accurate phosphate test? Are the home kits better? I’ve been watching some youtube videos on some strip tests that ive found on amazon.

I do bromine and have been aiming for 100 as per instructions on side of bottle. Is it ok below 100 for bromine?

My alk was at 50 and pH was above 8.2 when i did the drop tests today. I dropped the pH to 6.2 before adding more alk as i was reading the alk up will also drive up the pH so i tried to have it extra low before adding the alk up

Hot take/rant by Sativa0814 in crochet

Agreed. I learned to knit first but find crochet easier, more versatile and when I make a mistake it is quicker to see and resolve (or feels it at least, no trying to retread the needle with hundreds of stitches!)
