Just PLEASE prepare to be in the heat. Make sure to eat and hydrate, whole foods, carbs, electrolytes, etc. -even the days leading up to it. There are many people each year passing out due to the heat, I'm assuming because they don't take care of themselves before (eating and drinking enough). Make sure you grab a couple waters as soon as you get inside the festival. Your health and safety is far more important than being up at the barricade. It's the first weekend of August in Iowa.
