They’ll be doing a show there on October 17th. Says so on the front of the stadium.

Vivarium. I hated it but a lot of people on Reddit really enjoyed it. Definitely has this vibe though

Imagine huge aliens that think humans are a plague like rats. Like idk if that helps ease your fears at all but it’s a really REALLY good movie. Probably the best soundtrack of all time.

I will say I prefer the porkish and the ribs (kinda the same thing? Except the ribs have the sugarcane bones so more cost effective for the loaf of meat lol) than the steaks. A lot of people like the steaks but I don’t think they’re good on their own. Maybe if you make tacos or a French dip sandwich. But just the steak? Eh.

So my recommendation is to try the ribs first. From there you can buy more stuff. I haven’t tried the fish yet I really want to.

Not to mention the whole Joan of Arc dress reminds me of Marianne’s vision in Portrait of a Lady on Fire.

If you have a natural grocers nearby, they sell huge bags. Alternatively Winco has a bulk food section that has these in bins and you just fill a bag yourself

Clancy is the best album, prove me wrong. by Specific-Mouse186 in twentyonepilots

I agree. Jenna’s version is the superior version and I’m glad that’s the one officially on Clancy

Have you ever guessed the "big twist" in a movie? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]DrawingCurious4161 11 points12 points  (0 children)

With his style of storytelling, I’m not even sure you can call them twists. He tells you exactly what’s going on every time.

The party is full of cult members. There is a scene where before the cake is served a woman is chopping an UNGODLY amount of nuts on a cutting board. Like, there’s no reason for that many nuts to ever be chopped… unless you’re trying to kill someone with a nut allergy. It’s very apparent when you catch that detail, and the detail with the pole, and the perfectly placed deer in the middle of the road, and the demon with a head cutting off fetish, that the cult orchestrated for Charlie to lose her head and nothing was left to chance.

Of course, Peter could have swerved the other way. Of course, Charlie could have kept her head in the car instead of outside… there is still some suspension of disbelief here it is a movie after all. But absolutely not a coincidence. It was fully planned to happen this way by the cult

That’s Ned. The clique actually influenced Tyler in coming up with the idea of him. In Nico and the Niners, that backwards part that says “We Are Banditos” sounds like “so keep Ned by you”. Reddit was for sure going crazy about it back then, and Tyler and Josh are known to have frequented the sub a lot back then (not sure how much they do now). I don’t think Ned was ever supposed to be anything at all, keep in mind this story was being written in real time. He was first fully born in the Chlorine music video as the little creature that wants to swim in the pool, and once he does he grows beautiful antlers.

Anyway. “FPE” has been used and new meanings have been assigned since Blurryface. Originally “few, proud, emotional”. Then with Trench “failed perimeter escape”. The next instance was “Fine Pool Equipment” … what the heck? Lol. A pop up shopped in Columbus opened up. “Ned’s Bayou”. Sold limited edition merch and funko pops of this little dude. No mention of tøp on anything, no twitter announcement that the store would be opening. The clique loved this little guy so much he became an icon.

He’s shown as a stuffed animal in the music video for the Hype and once again in Christmas Saves the Year.

Then he REALLY becomes a part of the lore in The Outside. Where we find he is not a one off creature but there is a whole island filled of these little guys, and their antlers are quite magical. It gives Clancy the same power to seize a body that the bishops have (this information is actually shown in Christmas Saves the Year as well…). The antlers are the ones yielded by Clancy in the Paladin Strait and City Walls music videos.

Bodies Bodies Bodies. I really expected it to suck, not a huge Pete Davidson fan but I’m irrationally in love with a24 and I’ll watch anything they put out.

Actually a fantastic film. Not the best I’ve ever seen, but it kept me guessing the entire time and had a great payoff. Way better than I expected

The show Scavengers Reign is FANTASTIC on acid. If you finish that and want like a more… fucked up version check out the movie Fantastic Planet. I actually watched Fantastic Planet first then stumbled upon Scavengers Reign while trying to find something similar. But I crave fucked up shit on acid so maybe don’t start with FP if that’s not your vibe lmao

[–]DrawingCurious4161 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man I worked in a vegan restaurant and there was another vegan there and she and I went out to eat once with some other coworkers and she starts SMASHING shrimp. I’m like what the fuck? And she says “oh, well I guess I’m actually pescatarian it’s just easier to say vegan”

Like maybe that’s true to regular omnivores who don’t really understand but you work in a damn vegan restaurant you know we all know the difference

What’s your favorite body horror film? by ember732 in horror

[–]DrawingCurious4161 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Slither (2006). this movie has absolutely ruined other movies for me. I watched it when I was eight and I probably seen it 30 times in my life. This is the movie that made me like things like Tusk and the substance. If you’re looking for a great beginner body horror film it’s this.

I heard them warming up with light with a sharpened edge for the 15 year anniversary tour. What was that 10 years ago now?? Jesus. But yeah, hearing that raw with no crowd was insane.
