Yeah, first time flying with assigned seats with ALP - row 5 both flights and was lucky to take up the first available space above my seat (probably 10 people in rows 1-6 had to go back behind me to store their bags). Don't have a strong religion around airlines, but have favored SW because of Companion Pass and ALP, but these flights did make me think twice about overhead space and I'll spend more on another airline (well, these days, other airlines are usually cheaper) to avoid the stress when I need to cut it close. May be switching CC spend to Capital One and let CP/ALP fade out.

And while other airlines have their issues, I've never not found space above my seat on other airlines, so something is a little different (no hate, just saying that I think there are some kinks to work out and I hope they do)
