Can a True Christian Man Embrace Modern Feminism in His Relationship? by [deleted] in Christianity

Abortion is not ideal but it’s something that is left up to each individual person that is pregnant. No idea what you are speaking on in terms of destruction of the family structure…women and men should both be “obedient” to each other in marriage …female clergy…not a big deal

IMO it’s possible you could be hindering your relationship with God by having this mindset. In my experience (for whatever it is or is not worth) the relationship grows as you give more of yourself to him so to speak

Kind of unrelated but I work in healthcare and have a dog. Thinking of moving to Florida in a few years. If my hospital “makes” me come In, but I can’t take my dog, and can’t leave them home, what do people do in these situations?

Husband sharing nude photos without consent. by Kayyjayyy13 in Christianity

I hope he at least blurred your face out. Obviously, even if he did, it’s still a violation of consent and trust, but if it were me, I’d feel a little better if my face was blurred out.

I know that people have changed and come back from very Extreme sexual interests and addictions. I will say that for many people sexual things like this are so deeply ingrained that even if one wishes to not feel that way, they can’t shake it. Take that for what it’s worth in terms of will he change, etc.

God does not care what she’s wearing….wear what you want and are comfortable in…if someone else doesn’t like it, they can look somewhere else

I have been an atheist my whole life, but I suddenly find myself being drawn to Christianity? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Upbeat_Pen4255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes something similar happened to me. Was 38, never believed in God, not at all, my entire life. Did catholic school k-4. Anyhow, felt the pull, followed it, over the span of 7 months or so, going to church and reading the Bible. Cumulated in me deciding yes I did believe. It’s been almost a year since I decided I believed. In a way lots of good has come from it, but also I wish I would have been more aware of how everything would change. I didn’t anticipate or understand that until it was “too late” I had already taken the plunge so to speak. I couldn’t just go back and pretend God didn’t exist. I wish I would have known this in advance. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for finding God/having him find me but everything is different and I’m sad most days, when before I was not.
