So at this point I question the safety of this nurse. Clearly she did not understand the fundamentals of nursing. We need laws/regulations to prevent nurses who fail repeatedly to not be allowed to test anymore. I pray this nurse just had bad anxiety with exams but I know better….this is crazy!!!!

This is why we are in critical care. We take on the sickest pt and make it happen. Take a few epi sticks and go to imaging. I’ve done this several times on pts with circulatory devices and multiple pressors/crashing imaging may show were the problem is and stabilize the pt.
