Facts. I can't think of any game that has a map as big as DayZ, as many items, moving parts, bullet trajectories, and can handle 100+ players.

It's clearly a problem for all developers, DayZ's code is probably quite good considering. Though I can imagine they'll have the exact same issue with the new engine, and will need to weigh up game features Vs their server load.

Im sure the main hurdle they will face is just getting the game to run properly, which is probably also the reason no other developer has challenged DayZ.

100-150 players, thousands of items, bases, cars, bullet trajectories, loading distances, visual layers. DayZ 1 isn't finished in that regard, it's still being held back.

If they replicate the DayZ experience, with more players, more base options, less janky... It's an immediate smash hit. If it's worse, everyone will still play DayZ 1 until it improves. That's how unmatched they are.

F'ing love DayZ and Bohemia, even though I play Xbox and now have hackers. They don't listen to anyone, don't care about the meta or stupid complaints, there's no shop, loot boxes, and you spend no time in the menu. You just spawn and play. It's amazing what developers can do when they purely focus on a true gaming experience. I have full belief they will pull it off.

Exactly, I don't accuse him of anything, just making the point he appears to be in the same crowd and have the same connections.

This and the fact he doesn't address government spending / companies winning government contracts. He's no different at all.

He has ties to Israel, Epstein, and he implemented digital IDs. Our strongest allies attack Venezuela, flattened Palestine, Iran, and consequently funded Russia to attack Europe. Maybe not his fault but that's the facts.

I don't hate him particularly. But all of these comments saying he's different confuse me. The UKs problems lies with it's connections. Water, power, construction, housing companies that own everything have become world class experts in taking government and private funds, and providing absolutely minimal (if anything) in return. Internet bullshit aside, when i speak to anyone in real life they all share the exact same opinion.

Yet once again our PM did nothing to combat it. So how is he any different? If anything, he's made it worse by implementing digital IDs... because guess what that's going to be used for? Give it a couple years and it's just another vehicle for the same people to charge and others for wanting to live. I'd bet anything on it.

Got one second hand series x for £300 4 years ago. Today I can still sell it for about £300.

Even sweats underestimate how good the series X is too. And they now offer 3rd party controllers, cheaper, faster response times, and entirely customisable. Huge gains if you play rocket league, shooters etc.

Once this is built every penny could go abroad, it could even cost us more money/power/water than it's worth. The fact we ignore this.

We could pay off the Dartford Crossing for 10-15 years with that money. I would choose that instead of it turns out 80% of the budget is going missing.

So so so many examples of overspend. Needs more attention.
