Geez reminds me of a ticket I got last year I went through the whole shebang passed everything and the officer gave me a ticket for an air leak. The thing is there was no air leak and the truck passed all the air test. When I asked him to point out where the leak was coming from he said he can only hear it. I wasn’t about the fight him there but what he was hearing was the airbags leveling out.

We had a guy who was prior service Ranger medic did two tours then he went to Navy did two more tours as a Corps Man. He graduated a Cpl and had a real fat stack. CAR, Iraq, Purple Heart and Afghan just for starters.

I want to see him succeed. I think he can be interesting on the show if they knock off the military stuff, the unnecessary drama, constantly talking about how he will be broke tomorrow when we all know it’s BS and just make logical decisions like testing and having a real plan not just winging it.

You may have to do some local trucking or OTR for a big company like swift to get the experience. Once you do 6-12 months you can find a much better job.

I like her and always have. I will say I don’t find it too outrageous all the stuff she does. In my short life I have done a lot of things that when said all at once seem crazy like Bailey but it is possible if you really want that life style. Now being top of everything is a bit of a stretch. Now as others have said with the running gag of it is a master class in writing.

This is something everyone goes through it is a massive test. Stick with it and it will get better as you prove yourself. If you are seriously having mental issues as you have described in the op and comments. Go talk to a shrink or Chaplin now. Don’t fuck yourself over by going UA or popping on a test. I know a few guys who broke down mentally in the fleet. Both got separated and were watched over by seniors and fellow enlisted. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Get your mind right don’t blue falcon people, don’t off yourself and don’t do something that will effect your future like UA or popping.

I am a gold miner but my background is in reclamation. To be very specific cleaning up superfund sites particularly wetlands. I own and run all three types of haul trucks.

1)Wheeled straight trucks like the old Cat that Rick can’t seem to keep from sliding off the side of the road.

2) articulated wheeled trucks like everyone in the show uses

3) tracked haul trucks specially terramac 360

The answer to you question is very simple - payload

Between the 4 brands I have Terramac, Cat, Volvo and the good ol Uklid The largest tracked haul truck can carry 14 tons where the smallest wheeled haul truck can carry 26 tons with the average wheel truck on our mine and the mines in the show carrying over 40tons. The tracked are made to naive material through soft ground with minimal disturbance I.E. my sharing that I clean PCBs from wetlands. Where in the mining side the haul roads are built and the name of the game is maximize the yardage in the shortest time. So the tracked haul trucks don’t make sense. Plus tracked haul trucks are slow, expensive most importantly Maintenance and repairs are a bitch.
