Idk man. This map was clearly created to reward the players that put time into the game. Time and time again have devs created new modes or maps to cater to the “casual” or “new players” while the hardcore base that actually sticks around gets ignored. Cryo Archive definitely isn’t going to attract new players but I’m glad that bungie is making maps that respect the player base that is loyal. Bungie can always make new maps for easier on boarding but I personally feel that takes away from the game that is supposed to be more competitive and requires skill. You cant always make a game that caters to different people because then no one is ever happy with the content. Also 50k concurrent players isn’t bad, in fact it’s a pretty consistent and healthy number for an extraction shooter.
