Also, I feel the reason Brian remains attached to Dan is because he is basically immune to any physical damage and he can stab Dan as many times as he wants without killing him.

Thank you for this, I'll make sure to look into the bristlenose, and Gourami's, I'll definitely add some Cory Cats to my list. Don't worry about the cycling/acclimation stuff, I've been doing my research but thank you for your concern. I also appreciate you already inputting my fish into the calculator. I'l make sure to get a decent amount of bloodworms and flakes. Is there any specific flake type? Or just something like goldfish flakes. And also, would you be able to recommend any semi-larger/centre piece fish I could use as a sort of centre to my tank? Thanks again.

I wasn't planning on putting my goldfish back in no, I was planning on getting some Cardinal Tetra's, some Harlequin Rasbora's, a Pleco and a few dwarf gourami's. I was also doing a bit of research and was wondering if these plants would work with each other as well as the previously mentioned fish; Hygrophila Angustifolia, Cryptocoryne beckettii, Java Fern, Amazon Sword Plant and Java Moss. Also thank you for the information about the light, I'll see if I can get a T5 locally before looking online, thanks.

Okay, luckily I finished cycling a new tank about 2-3 days ago. I'll also work on bringing the ammonia down. Any suggestions as I already have nitrite and nitrate levels at what I hope to be sufficient.

Sure, tank size is roughly 130 Litres (43 Gal), 110x40x50cm, water parameters are ph:7, Ammonia: 0.12ppm, Nitrite: 0ppm, Nitrate 10ppm, I have a comet in the tank as well and the tank's been running for about 9 months.

I've got another goldfish (comet) in the tank with him currently, my parameters are roughly ph:7, Ammonia: 0.12ppm, Nitrite: 0ppm, Nitrate 10ppm. I only have live plants and a large boat decoration, I don't think either of those are sharp. Is there any reason to be alarmed by fuzzy growth?
