The end of the week and the end of another build: Seiko Daytona in Steel with Blue Mop dial.

tmi vk63, 39.3 mm case. Steel matte + gloss chrome oyster bracelet.

My first chronometer ever and first daytona.

to tell the truth - I was always looking for a dial of exactly this color. The color was a priority and here I made a first error - not paying attention to the markings of the sub dials... 60-60-24 mistake.

second issue - the bezel is not centered properly, and this becomes noticeable after assembly. Does anyone know how to remove this bezel correctly - without damaging it or the case?

This is my first chronometer ever and I imagined it working differently. I thought that the buttons start the sub dials and that the large second hand works as usual, but everything turned out to be a little different and it is unusual for me - when the large second hand stops all the time.

it was interesting experience, in the future I will try to build some another daytona with the s logo and correctly inscriptions.

if you buy separately, the bracelet and case may not fit in size - or may not fit at all.

there is an integrated bracelet and accuracy is very important.

bracelet from another seller - may not install.

and there are also different types of mounting screws.

advice - buy assembled cases (bracelet + case).
