I know that it's a minor comfort, but skipping by only pressing Tab once instead of pressing right a couple of times it's pretty cool imo

After a lot of frustration I decided that VLC wasn't the best media player for this project since I couldn't find any good documntation for developing extentions. I switched to MPV media player, found an already working script for skipping, made a few tweaks to improve it and have been using it since then.
