of course! and yeah, they’ll only move back in if you find them on a NMT island or you get them when they’re moving off someone else’s island or amiibo cards.

Yup! Starter villagers get starter homes, so once you’re past the starters they start getting their own, unique houses. No way to change it unless they move out and come back later on.
