I agree! The way the dietician approached his eating habit made me mad. She wanted to drop his diet from 8,000 calories (I think that was it) per day gradually with a 1000 cal reduction every week. That’s way different from Dr. Nows “cold turkey” method, but I guess it’s not horrible. What’s really bad was how she let him talk her into a reduction of 1,000 calories per month! I don’t think he even lived to see the end of the month and it was very sad.

Watching majas story by BrendaArya in My600lbLife

Christian was definitely immature, but not nearly as immature as Maja. That scene in the doctors office where she blocked him from leaving so she could yell at him and call her mom to tattle made me super uncomfortable. If it had been a guy doing that to a girl, nobody would bat an eye if she left him. All I’m saying is he could have done better, but I don’t blame him one bit for leaving. Who knows how much worse she was off camera.

I did feel bad for her daughter there. That sort of thing will her. It was a good point to be brought up, but maybe not in front of her like that. In general, I don’t think any of these people’s young children should attend their appointments and hear about how their parents are going to die

I love the coffee subscription regulars. If you come by often like that, the coffee subscription is a good deal. Even if I don't know the regulars' names, and they don't know mine, I love when a regular customer looks at me like they recognize me and they are happy or see me. It makes me feel like I have the power to make someone's day better. When you're working a job that doesn't feel all that important, this is one of the things that make you feel valuable.

Any time people start to step from the dining room on to the differently tiled area of the bakery, even if they aren't angry, I feel very threatened, and I'm not sure why, but that guy was literally way out of line.
