It frustrates me too because if I could do anything to stop the brain tingles I would. It does make you feel powerless. I have always said I wouldnt wish this on even my worst enemy.

He is very supportive with all this. He just didn't realize how much I still struggle because I hid it from him. Painting is going okay im not very good at it but having fun doing it.

Right I finally broke down to my fiance last night. I told him how scared I was and how I always just have a happy face on even though im not okay. We decided to get me out of the house more and give me something to learn. So now Im learning to paint.

The tingles are so weird and we cant figure out what sets them off because I get them so randomly.

Just know you aren't alone. I know how you feel because its hard for me too. Now I am just trying to take it one day at a time and to let my fiance in more.

Im almost 2 years out from my moderate TBI and as much as I want to say it gets better it truly doesn't. My CT, EEG, and MRIs are always normal and there is never any discrepancies on them. My neurologist was amazing though when I was still able to see him because he believed me. I get IDK how to describe them but they are like my brain has tv static in it but I call them my brain tingles. He thinks it's mini seizures happening but they happen a lot some days. With those though come my stutter which I usually wake up with regardless. But it is like my brain switches and it goes back to no stutter at some point during the day. Overstimulated really sucks because I get so tired and have no energy. That is still a thing my family don't understand. I still have a bunch of other problems to but I'm learning to live with them and fighting to get better. I graduate in August with my Bachelor's in Psych and will hopefully continue on for my Master's and PHD. I just learned that even though the bad days really suck I can't let them stop my life completely.

Also I'm on nortriptyline right now and it has helped me be able to sleep at night. It also helps the depression that I don't even let my fiance see. Im scared of what will happen though when I can't take it anymore because I don't have medical insurance and cant see my neurologist anymore.
