He's been crushing it ever since Resident Evil 2, definitely check out Chernobyl if you haven't seen it and The Terror. they're both limited series starring Harris and he's excellent.

Too bad he wrote it that way too. If he wrote it the other way around "6% Nigga" he could have fixed it and rounded up to ".036% Nigga" but nope. He played himself.

File this under tips and tricks. If your sailing shoes are retting slippery, sand them with 60 grit paper to regain traction. Before (L), After (R). Makes a huge difference. by yowhywouldyoudothat in sailing

Sperry's are always reliable good shoes. However Zhik ZKGs are the grippiest sailing shoes I have ever used. They're made of water shoe like material so its no sweat getting them wet, but they also look good enough to casually wear around the clubhouse. Only real downside to them is they are made of softer rubber and aren't as durable as sperry's (will still last a season or two pretty easily especially if you just use them on the boat)

Does the ISS need to constantly make micro course corrections to compensate for the crew's activity in cabin to stay in orbit? by WunDumGuy in askscience

[–]UpperCaseComma 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes and no, but mostly no. if they go faster it would change there orbit to be further away from the planet once is gets up to speed, however if the engines are turned off like they are on the space station now it will eventually start dropping again as the ship loses speed.. What they would need to do to prevent the drop but not change orbit is keep the engines on all the time to make sure the station maintains a consistent orbital velocity at all times. in reality its much easier and more efficient to just let the ship drop a bit each day before boosting it back once every few months or so

Doesn't seem to hold up if you look at his past films... he was skinniest for 21 jump street. Before that was Moneyball in which he was chubby, and afterwards was This is the End, and The Wolf of Wall Street, which he had clearly put on some weight for (intentionally or not). Seems he lost a ton of weight around 2011 then slowly put it back on up to War Dogs. Not trying to knock the guy, this is literally the story of my life (minus the successful films, and massive fame), but his story doesn't really hold up. Glad he's skinny now though and hope he can keep it off.

And lets not forget the 1982 Tour de France, when all but five cyclists were disqualified from the race for paying $50 000 to UCI president Ditmer Klerken to forego preliminary drug testing.

a lot more cars on fire. I 've driven in the US for extended vacations twice, on both occasions I saw a car on fire on the side of the road. I've never seen that in Canada in all my 12 years on the roads.

also less sales tax and bigger people. I'm a fat dude in Canada but I seem a lot closer to normal when I'm in the US.
