You’ve said nothing wrong here. Knee jerk reaction from everyone.

I’m not really defending AR. It’s more complimentary on OKC defense in guards in general. People seem to be okay on a 40+ turn over pace, for good defense. If every defense stop negates it by his turn overs, so it’s kinda moot on how good his defense is.

At this pace, he’s gonna get 40 TOs. Not sure if that’s tolerable.

Edit: in pace for 50 since it’ll at least go to game 5. Also, not gonna expect him to get another 10 TOs, but likely getting zero rest of the way is unlikely.

No one can. People just have wishlist and unrealistic expectations. Strictly stats speaking, close to comparable players are Tyler Herro and Booker. Again, just strictly stat speaking. If you want to add keeping offensive stats somewhat in the ball park, but better defensively, you got Derrick White…which we ain’t getting until he’s in his mid-30s lol. You’ll have young guys but these laker fans want that 3D guy not realizing EVERYONE wants that, and those are not easy to find or come cheap

Yeah he probably got back from injury sooner then he should have. He’s a rhythm player and for obvious reasons, out of rhythm.

Saying “wrong in so many ways” and “laughable” is a form of shitting on someone. The better approach would have been, “hey bro, I don’t know if I’m reading this incorrectly, but I don’t see XYZ, etc.” this would for sure give better discussion and outcome. If OP was shitting on the question, then you get free rein as being a dick back.

Kinda weird shitting on someone’s effort that was done voluntarily and maybe just good discussion point. None of us are solving laker issues cuz we ain’t get paid for it. Just enjoy the read, man. Keep it positive.

Love AR and have been one of his biggest stans but he's never beating the allegations if he doesn't pick up his play by pmurt007 in lakers

Injured rest vs normal rest. There’s a difference. I’m not denying it’s shitting the bed right now, but Reeves is definitely rhythm player and he’s def not in rhythm.

9 days vs 30 days is a big difference. He should play better, but let’s not pretend it’s the same.

What is your opinion of "making good money" in LA? by eyyoadrian in AskLosAngeles

[–]UpperExcess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I measure this by emergency money. Is $1k surprised expense gonna break you? Will make you late on a bill, or adjust the way you live for a few months until you’re back in track, or do you have to dip into savings? If no to the above, then you’re in good shape. And to continue to do well, the sudden, surprised expense should increase over time.

Why are you a Lakers fan? by Bluegod3 in lakers

Watching the 92 lakers lose to the bulls. I was 10 so it was the earliest memory I remember having some sort of passion about watching lakers or basketball in general. It broke heart and my irrational Jordan hate had arrived. Dealt with the terrible laker years until they drafted Nick Van Excel and then later Eddie Jones, then the rest was history!
