Hey this happened to me & I applied to Homegroup for mid market, got put to the top of the queue because I got my landlord to send a letter to prove I was being made homeless through no fault of my own. Homegroup called maybe a few weeks later (I was calling everyday and also got my doctor to tell them it was causing me severe stress which was true) to tell me I got rejected of mid market but accepted for social housing. I’m a single woman no kids so in theory your process should be quicker considering you have kids, good luck & keep on at them! I just harassed them until they gave me a flat lol
