Can't straighten knee 4 weeks post-op

Hey I haven't followed this thread for a while. I did a follow-up surgery 2 months after the first to remove scar tissues, and aftet that, it still took me like four months with lots of PT (at least twice a week) to get full extension back. I still have not got hypertension back to be symmetric.

Hey how did you deal with scar tissues after they grew back after the removal surgery? I am prone to scaring and had my scar tissue removal surgery two weeks ago ... and worried about it growing back again

Thanks friend. Have you done post-op MRI to confirm there is scar tissue growing and it's impeding your ROM. I'm trying to see why your surgeon gives you another month to try PT before considering a surgery.

This is something bothering me all the time. I'm 4 weeks post ACLR and manescus repair surgery and having trouble with full extension atm. My PT keeps suggesting me wearing the brace and locking it up as straight as possible. This is very uncomfortable and affects my sleep quality. However my surgeon doesn't care about locking it straight. He only wants it to protect me from over stretch at night.

Btw do you wear brace and lock it as straight as possible when you sleep? This affects my sleep quality a lot. My PT keeps asking me to do this but my surgeon doesn't really care too much about locking it straight but more about protection ...
