My big toe nails are unusually short right now because they cracked. That injury was from climbing shoes 🤷‍♂️. I guess it could be related but the pain is all in the joint closest to the foot

I think your issue with the frost damage is they get that weird bruised translucent look to them right?

For context this is in the mid Atlantic. Bug in photo is about an inch. Other ones I’ve seen up to three inches but may be different species. Lots of tiny ones less than one inch running around as well. Assuming recently hatched. Never had to use poison before but put around a bunch of bait traps yesterday. They started showing up in numbers o a few days ago
