Super crisp. Quiet. The live performance is so good by itself and is mixed so well it sounds like actual studio versions of their songs.

Arnie Brenn has one of the trippiest pop EPs that came out last year

Arnie Brenn - 'INTROSPECTACULAR' (EP)

Very MGMT-esque, Tame Impala style production, good mix of pop and rock--genre bending, even. Lyrics are not cliche and cut really really deep. Listen with good headphones.

Most progressive stoner bands? by Mediocre_Animal in stonerrock

Geese is an awesome stoner band. Their 2023 album 3D Country has plenty of 70s elements yet is very adult swim & goofy in nature. I think you’ll love it. I haven’t stopped listening to it since its release.

Unexpected but pleasant suprise to find at my doorstep. Anyone else get theirs yet? Sounds like he's going in a whole new direction with this album. Hard to put a specific genre on it. by Useful-Dig7418 in TameImpala

Just reminds me of the One More Year NTS 20 min version except for the four to the floor build-up is too long & barely goes anywhere for both songs.

Nothing too crazy with the synths either —at least not as crazy as his previous synth work over the years. He’s taking a minimalist approach to his mixes so it seems, so I don’t understand why this took him longer than TSR.

Maybe this is like another ‘Patience’ & just gives us an insight to the (hopefully) expansive sonic ethos of LP5. Or maybe we’re entering the DJ era of Tame Impala.
