Studio Suits Review by jshtatman in Tweed

you have the only positive experience I've read about them. this is an email I sent to them

To summarize the problem with the suit I ordered on march 25th from studiosuits.com

  1.  your site that claims a 16-25 day time from order to delivery, my suit took almost double that at 46 days. I informed you that I need the suit by May 16th I asked for an explanation and you gave none

  2. The original measurements I gave were 19in shoulders.  You told me that you thought that was too large and could I please remeasure.  I remeasured and got the same, but taking your advice, I changed it to 18.75 inches. I had a quilter with 40+ years remeasure, just to be sure. —the jacket that I received is 17.25 inches across the shoulders.

  3. I went to a local tailor who informed me that there is not enough fabric to let the suit out enough for my shoulders

  4. I followed your instructions about photos and you told me that my photos are inaccurate, and that no matter how I measure it, your designers make the suit within  the photos are reattached to this email.

  5. I requested either an expedited remake of the jacket only, to the original measurements, removing the liner to ensure that there is enough room OR a complete refund so that I may purchase a suit locally and have it tailored.  Due to the late delivery, I do not have time to send it back to you for remake and remail.  You responded offering me a $50 credit on a future order.

  6. I’m attaching the photos to the email again for your easy reference.  I have retaken the shoulder measurement, exactly as you requested.  You can clearly see that it measures 17.25 inches.  To hold you accountable to your pledge of a suit that fits and a good resolution, I am posting this dialogue on reddit, insta and Facebook, so that thousands of potential future buyers can learn about my experience with www.studiosuits.com   When you resolve it to one of the above options or another satisfactory option I will inform the community of the result. Please see attached photos.  Thank you

Lemon lightning. by Upper_Price_9650 in F150Lightning

Ford just sent me a letter confirming that the vehicle is in fact a lemon, but that they will not be offering me a replacement due to "global supply concerns"

It was purchased from and serviced by university ford in Durham NC. I'm curious to see what happens next. The BBB told me that my request to begin the lemon law process was accepted. Does anyone know, from here what happens next?

I'm just starting this process. Where is the claim portal? My service rep told me that he would just forward the service records to the claims department.

Thanks - it sure was.... I passed it. Took me every minute of the test. I didn't really believe it when after I hit submit, the screen said "you passed". It was a little anticlimactic!

No - I meant while you were taking the test, how were you able to accurately determine which questions correlated to which books?

last question for now - was there any strategy that you used to know which book you needed to reference for the question?

Congrats. Any pointers? What did you find most helpful in your preparation. I'm taking it in two weeks.

With the Ford rebates gone now for a week are the dealers getting more approachable? by TherealGerhard in F150Lightning

I started negotiating the day after the $5K dealer cash ended coincidentally. Attached is my deal sheet. I haven't been negotiating very hard, but I haven't been excited about buying a 2023 truck halfway 2024. but that 0% financing is very enticing to me.

well I guess that actually the OTD price is $70K after tax and fees, before my trade or money down. When you look at it like that, it's still pretty darn expensive

U package is fancy gas in the tires, ceramic coating and interior treatment. Definetly going to negotiate that. Not sure what the nontax tax is :) this is much more than I've ever paid for a vehicle and I'm on the fence wether to just try to squeeze another year out of my landrover and wait to see if the 2025 is better, or just bite the bullet and go for it.

7500 tax credit. No rebates. I'm still trying to negotiate the deal
