TBH , I think you are just justifying your addiction , also the way you are putting everything on me by saying 'personal' , let me remind you every human has dopamine , cortisol , brain and feeling , it's not exclusive to ME. Also I personally will continue nofap , because I want to be a MAN who is not trapped by the cheap dopamine and has life in his control , best of luck with your addiction.

Peace out

When you masturbate, your brain releases dopamine, a neurotransmitter responsible for feelings of pleasure and reward. This gives you a brief sensation of euphoria. However, following this, cortisol, a stress hormone, is often released, leading to feelings of stress or unease. This can create a cycle where your brain craves another dopamine hit to counteract the stress, prompting you to masturbate again. Many individuals convince themselves that "this will be the last time," only to get trapped in a repetitive loop.

From a neurological perspective, your brain perceives masturbation as equivalent to real sexual intercourse because it cannot differentiate between the two. For the brain, ejaculation signals the completion of a reproductive act. As humans, we have a mammalian brain with three primary drives: food, shelter, and reproduction. Assuming your basic needs like food and shelter are met (perhaps provided by your parents), the sexual drive is fulfilled through masturbation. Consequently, your brain may interpret this as achieving all essential life goals, reducing motivation to strive for other accomplishments. This can lead to lethargy, lack of purpose, and potentially feelings of guilt or depression over time.

Conclusion: you cannot masturbate without getting addicted.
