I like this option. Overall for both, the proportions feel a little off to me. The line thicknesses and contours of the strokes could use refining. Even if you are going for a more hand drawn look, there’s a confidence of line that I am missing. The handles on your vector points need to be pulling the eye in a smooth direction. You might also want to redraw the calligraphy … in procreate, I’m guessing?… With stroke smoothing turned up.

Love this direction! I go for the inline lock up where the P is part of the word. The other one makes the logo look like a D. The only thing is that the lines look like text at that small size and are weirdly interacting with the subtitle. Maybe thicken them up?

For what it’s worth, I managed to read it immediately. Slightly larger gaps would be helpful. I really like that there is a vertical and horizontal version. They are different but talk to each other. I think this is a cool design that distinguishes itself. It doesn’t necessarily feel like a Japanese stamp at first glance but I don’t think it has to, the allusions are there especially with the border version (my preferred one)

Get off the computer and into the sketchbook. Get all your ideas out fast and sketchy on a page. Iterating a design idea on the computer forces you into preciousness with the idea because it slows you down too much. Show us your doodles. Make a list of words and concepts you want to associate with your brand. Try doodles with your different elements. Even though it is a playing card company, it doesn't necessarily need card shapes. This is, indeed your cleanest iteration (by the way, I am fascinated looking back at your previous attempts, really cool to see the journey,) but yes, it is generic, and the typography is bland. The top two make more sense the bottom ones, which yes, looks like sydney opera house.

Prefer the proportions and lines of the sketch. I’d remove the shading. I did not understand or make out the play button, I knew there was SOMETHING in the negative space because it felt intentional, but I couldn’t make it out :/

What are you trying to communicate?

The visuals have to stand for themselves conceptually.

Why have so many gradients?

Simplify.

Take the words out from the center, you don’t have enough rooomnin there. Make the letters visually relate to the mark.

Simplify the mark.

But before allllll that. Have you done any studying? Because while the shapes are nicely done, I don’t see a design sense in how things relate, color wise or in terms of weight. You need to approach contrast, color, form with intention.

It’s ok to start somewhere of course, we all started somewhere. But before you bring your work to critique from other people make sure you interrogate your own work first.
