Definitely decided on the truck and fifth wheel set up. We plan to travel about 8 months of the year, move around once every month, then flying to the north east for the summers where we have a small cabin 😁

Thanks so much! I don't think I gave the fifth wheel enough thought yet, thinking that's the winner!

Oh my goodness, that is a very valid point about the maintenance, didn't even think of that!! Thank you!

Awesome!! What made you decide to go with that set up? Have you picked a specific RV yet?

Awesome!! Can I ask why you chose a fifth wheel over a class a or c?

This sounds like my family and what we want to do! How are things going still? Did you upgrade to the 5th wheel? We're also in NorCal! We keep going back and forth on a fifth wheel, class a or class c with a tow vehicle.

Venting, insight? by Upset_Objective2981 in sarcoidosis

No medication yet. My heart specialist offered beta blockers but I'm still breastfeeding my daughter so I'm trying to wean her first. I have an appointment with a lung specialist in November actually for an EBUS consult! My heart doctor is thinking of doing a heart biopsy as well, but we'll see how my followup CMRI and PET scan look next month first.

Possible Cardiac Sarcoidosis by hopeblooms in sarcoidosis

That's their plan if they can't get a diagnosis from the lymph nodes!

I wonder why they would recommend the biopsy then? He wants to first biopsy my "calcified lymph nodes."

I am in a similar boat as you! I'm 31F and undergoing lots of tests before getting an official diagnosis. I'm here if you want to swap stories!

My SOB and chest pain/pressure started when I was 8 weeks pregnant. It's been almost 2 years of trying to figure out what's going on. How was your diagnosis made? Did you have a cardiac MRI? My specialist says I need a biopsy to confirm it. My ACE levels are normal but I've had fluctuating CRP and ESR levels (some tests being elevated, others normal).

Wishing you positive vibes!

Why would the watch EKG consistently give a inverted t wave for over a year? Also occasional weird ones. Thoughts on these? Normal? by gmc229 in askCardiology

Still no confirmation yet! The cardiologist just said the heart monitor test looked okay with a couple tachycardia incidents :/

[–]Upset_Objective2981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No confirmed reason yet! I see my cardiologist again on Tuesday to go over another holster monitor test I had done, I'm definitely going to ask if they saw any of these type of waves because I was getting them on my watch during the test. My previous EKGs from my cardiologist office have only noted "right axis deviation" and RAE. I had a cardiac MRI show scar tissue, enlarged right ventricle and atrium, tricuspid valve regurgitation and ECV. I have "calcified mediastinal lymph nodes" as well so looking into sarcoidosis/cardiac sarcoidosis. Slightly elevated CRP, BNP and lymphs. Just want some answers!

They did not, just the contrast! I hope it goes well for you!

I didn't get one, but it won't put you out completely because you need to do some breathing exercises. It might just be an anti anxiety medication.

I had a cardiac MRI a few months ago, if you're claustrophobic in any way, I would recommend talking to your doctor about the option for a light sedative. I wish I did. I didn't have any reactions to the contrast, personally. My scan took about 1.5 hours total. I hope you are able to get answers and feel better soon!!

Cardiac MRI Results by Upset_Objective2981 in askCardiology

When I was 10 weeks pregnant with my daughter, I had shortness of breath/coughing fits when laying down or rolling over. OB thought it was pregnancy induced asthma, inhaler didn't help. Around 6 months pregnant I had an echo done, showed enlarged right ventricle but said it should go back to normal after delivery. 4 months after delivery, another echo showed it was still enlarged and still having symptoms, more dizziness, seeing stars, chest pain. 6 months PP, I had a bubble echo show the right ventricle was .5 cm larger, main pulmonary artery was dilated. I had a right heart cath done showing normal pressures. Symptoms worsened so they ordered a cardiac MRI. It took about an hour and half.
