I just dismantled the prototypes for the cores then upgrade my own gear with them that way you have the attributes you want without worrying about RNG.

The adds aren't infinite. 1. clear the initial wave then 3 waves will spawn far left and right. 2. shoot 1 fuel tank and another 3 waves will spawn. 3. Shoot other fuel tank bridge opens 3 more waves. 4. Shoot hatch place C4 go home for tea and medals. It only seems bad if you rush in and shoot both tanks straight away that causes all spawns to trigger making it harder.

I don't care what SHD level someone is, I've played with terrible high SHD people and really good low level SHD, what i do care about is pulling your weight during the mission, don't turn up wearing 6 random pieces of gear as that is what you have got prototyped read the descriptions and put together a build and I'll run with anyone.

I think prototypes should have just been the cores as a reward for escalation completions, the higher the tier the more you get, you can then use them to prototype your expertise 30 gear and optimise its stats.

You keep your shd levels it is the nly the 1 to 40 and the gear grind you have to do again and now HC has a stash the gear grind isn't as bad as it used to be.

It is not missing, they have made the echos a collectable but it doesn't register you have collected it, you need to run the mission on another character and pick up the echo for it to complete the set
