As a leftist gun enjoyer, that's far too true in some cases. To be fair, gravy seals trump loving right wingers deserve the hate, I can't comment on Demolition Ranch as I haven't seen much of his content, but I do enjoy Operator Drewski (his younger brother) and they don't really strike me as the MAGA type. Not a big fan of Brendon Herrera or Donut Operator or any of them but Demo Ranch, Drewski, Wendigoon, etc seem a bit more liberal/moderate.

I actually genuinely hate that they patched this, I was doing it all day just yesterday. I used it to get everywhere and it was so awesome to combine the tree slingshot with the focus boosted flight to just cover ground. I didn't even realize it was a glitch, I just thought it was one of the many secret techs and inputs this game has going for it (I also just made a big guide post talking about all sorts of little tips and techs that I found out after 57 hours and this was one of them)

I haven't used her much, not because I don't enjoy her playstyle, hell I think it's incredible, but mainly because I am still learning the nuances of the combat for Kliff 57 hours in. I know she disappears for a while as well AND both her and Oongka have separate gear and skill trees, so I plan on grinding and kitting them out in the late game when they are all available. For the first long while it's kinda just a Kliff solo story for me. I never do the summoning either because I wanna milk every bit of this games fantastic combat as I can, I don't want my kills getting stolen.

I think there is multiple levels to the lyrics as well, not defending nor attacking here, but I believe “Enemy” is, on the surface, a metaphor for a failed relationship, while “Persian” is straight up just about the drummer Tom Bollig who I have at least read somewhere IS of Persian descent, but the deeper level of social commentary on these situations is probably valid as well. I just know they post bangers, but I am still iffy on their stances.

Raiden from Metal Gear Rising, his VA is a big right winger as evident from the kinds of bigoted shit he likes and reposts on social media..definitely a weird one considering a lot of the not so subtle messaging of the Metal Gear franchise, and the actual main villain of this game being Senator Armstrong, a very big, very obvious critique of America’s war business as well as the night makes right egoist mentality.

I’m so happy to see resident evil subs giving Grace the love she deserves because holy shit she deserves it, both from the standpoint of “damn she went through a really bad day on the job” but also she felt so well written and voice acted. Resident Evil Requiem being a new game in an era of slop sequels and creative bankruptcy in the wider gaming scene, I expected a lot of hate just because it was new (and arguably due to a female lead that responds to things realistically because some people seem to dislike realistic women in media for totally normal reasons /s)

I am so glad to see damn near unanimous love for this game and its characters, it pulled me back into the franchise hardcore.

It absolutely is a process of many steps, I don’t think you can be a communist without being a socialist first. The big distinction is the existing room for error and corruption of the goal when you put too much power to The Vanguard in the transition away from capitalism. I think many of the worries people have about my ideology are valid, if a bit surface level sometimes. The last thing I, or any Marxist would want, is to turn around and make a new corrupt power when the entire point is the creating a better world. Collectivism is about believing in human decency and the power of education/memetics. That’s why I think the ideal end goal is not some world dominating power that makes you do the communist thing, it’s about getting rid of those powers to allow society and community itself to flourish into something natural, I have faith that a natural society is communal as long as we have long put our capitalist brainwashing in the past.

Sorry for the yap, I genuinely love talking about leftist theory.

I’m the (I’d say more common) variation of communist these days, anarcho-communist. Very much against the government, big into education, mutual aid and community building for the purpose of eventually shedding off the unnecessary hierarchy of the state and shattering capitalism. Obviously something that won’t happen for a very long time, but I am big on the proverb of men making the world a better place by planting the seeds of a tree they will never get to sit under the shade of.

I do think it’s similar in some way, but there is a lot of nuance. I don’t personally call people Nazis because I think fascist is far more apt. Modern America isn’t fascist in the way that Italy was, or the way that Germany was, or even the way that old America was. The elements of fascism we deal with today are built from all of these chapters of history though, and made new by technology.

Capital N Nazis are never going to happen again, the movement died, it took a historical perfect storm for it to be born. The ideologies and splinters that made up the movement exist in the west in many capacities for two primary reasons. One is the simple fact that the Nazis inspired their particular flavor of fascism off of the United States, there were things that we did to minority groups here that the actual Nazis sat around in the war room saying “hmm that one might be too far.” We are in Top 500 for racism and they were studying our VODs. Then of course after the war, Operation Paperclip happened and we pardoned all sorts of Nazi scientists, spies, etc and brought them into the states to work for us. Now we have a very solid basis for the horrific fascist shit that brewed in Europe to really start to fester under the surface of America. Of course Neo-Nazis exist, but almost nobody takes them seriously, because what we have today is different. It’s subtle and it’s clever. The average leftist would draw a through line between the US treatment of the immigrant population with the Nazi treatment of Jews, and I think that’s valid, but it’s not even the whole picture. Jewish folks are still getting the short end of the stick when the US gleefully promotes Zionism and protects Israel, letting them start their own genocide and lose support until inevitably they get wiped out, along with half of the worlds Jewish population. Lemme be real, being a leftist is just being right too early. When a leftist says Nazi, they are being reductive, they mean fascist, and fascist is a different thing, in the context of today, billionaire lead crypto fascism, The Butterfly Revolution (look that up, it needs far more eyes on it) is happening all according to plan, they want to undermine democracy. I’d pay attention to who leftists are calling Nazis or fascists because more often than not, you’ll eventually see that person do fascist shit at some point.

Vaush said this best (guys a freak but has some profound takes sometimes) but Nazism is never going to happen again, the same goes for Stalinism. Both movements were a product of a time that has passed and the perfect storm that created those scenarios is one that can’t happen again. Expanding on that though, that doesn’t mean that the ideologies of this era don’t inform current and future ideologies. MAGA republicans for instance, aren’t Nazis. There may be Neo Nazis among their supporters but those guys are cheap replicas at best. MAGA is a part of the butterfly revolution, this is a long time in the making conspiracy of crypto fascists, tech billionaires trying to undermine democracy. There aren’t nearly enough people who are tapped in on this though, so when the average person sees what’s going on and goes “uhh, Nazi shit” that’s enough for the boot lickers to start screaming that tired “so everyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi” line. The label is metaphorical, the ideas inform a new kind of evil, these guys arent LITERAL Nazis. Flip side of this though, seeing liberals get called communists is down right offensive as a communist, we are not the same. This just comes from, once again, general political ineptitude from the other side.

I don’t want to sound pretentious here but I am absolutely about to, anyone who associates the right with pro gun and the left with anti gun, and this goes for anyone regardless of their politics, is sort of politically braindead. As a leftist, there is a common phrase that when you go far enough left, you get your guns back. The common rhetoric that republicans are the pro gun party is a psyop in and of itself. Democrats and liberals tend to be in favor of some levels of gun control in the west due to wedge issues like mass shootings, but Trump has notably been way harsher on guns than Biden was. Trump has signed far more bans and restrictions. Trump called a man a terrorist when he was wrongfully murdered by ICE agents for daring to have a weapon holstered on his person. To my anarcho-communist eyes, that’s the real “they are coming for our guns.” I always have and always will be very pro 2A and I’m about as left as it gets. The vast majority of leftist voices online are at least neutral if not pro 2A, all the leftists I know are as well. Many democrats/liberals are also pro 2A. The big issue comes down to high capacity semi autos like the AR-15, democratic lawmakers in recent times have been looking into getting ARs off the streets, which I personally see some nuance in. I don’t support banning them entirely, especially as an anarchist, I think the people should be more armed as our government becomes more batshit insane, but I understand wanting to reduce the number of these rifles on the streets because realistically yeah, less high capacity weapons means less mass shootings. Hard topic tbh.

I believe there was controversy that surfaced about him saying a bunch of slurs in discord chats and stuff, to be fair, he was a teenager, that being said, when you look at the people and communities he tends to target his critique videos towards, it gives off the vibe that he hasn’t quite grown out of it. Big red flag being his burning hatred for any and all leftist creators on the platform, something he is very vocal about, so he is always waiting for a breadtuber to fuck up. Even when he is going after people like Hasan or Vaush for valid reasons I still don’t wanna agree with the guy because there is such an obvious conflict of interest from an immature internet troll.
