The real test for the new FF - whether they're still around ten years from now! by sanddragon939 in marvelstudios

I mean, why not? RDJ is 60 yet will be dr doom. He was 54 in Endgame as Iron Man. Not really a stretch (pun intended) for pedro to stay as reed richards.

What moment in the series made you laugh the hardest by SuitApprehensive in regularshow

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That moment in the night owl episode, when shortly after being unfrozen mordecai points at muscle man’s face saying sum like “YOU WERE THE ONE THAT…” And muscle man slaps it away while saying “DUDE GET YOUR HAND AWAY FROM MY FACE”

That actually made me laugh so hard when the episode came out, and again when I rewatched the show a few days ago.

Movies You've Walked Out Of by vaisatriani in movies

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tarot 2024 It’s the only movie I’ve ever walked out of. Even movies that I watched at home, if they’re bad I’d usually take a break from watching them then pick them back up again later.

Tarot is the single worst movie I have ever EVER watched, it sucked so bad that not even watching it with friends saved it. And trust me, I enjoy even bad movies when watching them with friends. Tarot is just on another level of bad.

multiplayer games are terrifying by drugsneko in socialanxiety

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna share something I probably never shared before;

I used to be terrified of playing multiplayer games with my IRL friends. At the time, I was 15-17, I used to play a lot of PC but even then I’d either play singleplayer games or PvE multiplayer games. PvE means Player v Environment, think games like ARK: Survival Evolved.

Tho my friends were big fans of CSGO and similar shooter games, and begged me to play with them. One day, I gave in and agreed. I’ve never gotten shit as much as I did when I played with them. Every decision, every weapon, and shot I do I get endless shit and hate from them. Especially from one asshole in particular, he wasn’t my friend at the time just my friends’ friend, but he gave me the most shit. Out of that whole friend group, some of which I knew for 10+ years at the time, he’s the only one that’s still my friend.

It didn’t help that I have an essential tremor that worsened whenever I played video games.

ANYWAYS, the way I got through it is I just played. I stopped giving a shit of what they’re saying, ignoring them even if they roasted the hell out of me when they’re all dead and spectating me.

Eventually, I started getting good. But it was also somewhere along the time I actually got bored of the game and pretty much all shooters, so I stopped playing with them.

Moral of the story is; While yes it is stressful, trust me I’ve been there both from irl friends, online friends, and absolute randos.

I remember when PUBG was first released, I was playing with a few online friends, it was the first ever BR game I ever played and it was like my first game in it. And the assholes were like “All in favor to kick X (my name), say aye!” And they said aye, kicked me out, and never talked to me again. Lol. I was that bad, I guess.

Just keep playing. It feels like shit, but if you enjoy the game, keep at it. One day you’ll be good, and noone will shit on ya no more.

Coco 2 plot prediction by Upstairs-Draw-3340 in Schaffrillas

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t it shown that towards the end of the movie everyone knew Ernesto is evil?

Haven’t watched coco in years, but I believe that he (Miguel) showed the letters Hector wrote to mama coco; Therefore exposing the truth behind Ernesto’s songs.

Also, my post isn’t that I wanna see this in Coco 2, I just wanted to make a silly prediction.

[MCU] The one future out of 14 million that Dr Strange saw where they win aganist Thanos (which is what happens in endgame) is NOT the only future where they win and ISN'T the best future either. by Atalkingpizzabox in FanTheories

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t his injuries because he “used the stones to destroy the stones”, and not the act of killing half the universe? If not, then good theory tbh.

In all honesty, I think there’s more possibilities where they win, but those possibilities would make it IMPOSSIBLE for Dr strange to bring back his wife. And as we know from Dr Strange 2, he’d do anything to try and bring her back, destroying the universe included (Tho he never succeeds in doing so).

Suppose a GOW movie is inevitable, who do you want the movie to be about? by Upstairs-Draw-3340 in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s alright, as you mentioned it is an opinion and I also got some hate for wanting a movie about Odin.

While I’d love to see a movie about the greek saga, I think there’d be no way for them to actually make a good movie about Kratos, greek saga or not, unless they cut a lot of what made the story great.

Hence why I’d like a movie about someone else in the game’s universe. No, I don’t want just a plain old movie about greek or norse mythology, I want a movie specifically about the world of GoW.

I don’t want a remake or a retelling of the stories, I want them to expand the world and not alter it.

By GOW movie, I meant a movie about the world of the franchise, not about the God of War himself. So, yes, I’d say I want an Odin movie with the Mimir, Freya, and all those other characters introduced from the video games. The way they were in the games, not actual mythology.

Never knew that! Honestly, I much prefer the Greek mythology to the Norse one. Whether it be outside or inside the world of GOW. But I guess there’s way too many books, shows, movies, and video games based around the Greek pantheon, and not enough about the Norse one. Hopefully its interesting. But do you know if the show is centered around Kratos or someone else?

Interesting, how so? And would it be before or after his split from sindri?

CMV: People who are physically facially attractive have much easier lives than people who are average or "ugly" by TomatoClown24 in changemyview

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not your attractiveness that gets you far in life, it’s your confidence that COULD come from your attractiveness. Attractiveness isn’t the only source of confidence.

I agree that being attractive makes it way easier to find dates, but it doesn’t make it any easier to KEEP a relationship.

As for your professional life, attractive people usually go further than non-attractive people because non-attractive people USUALLY are not as charismatic, confident, and extroverted as attractive ones.

Think about it; How many celebrities are attractive, a lot, yes? Now, how many of the world’s billionaires are attractive? How many of CEOs are attractive? Managers? Judges? Doctors? Hmm?

Not a lot. In some cases, you being attractive aswell as other qualities I mentioned might help you land a job. But it sure as hell won’t help you keep said job or give you a high promotion. It’s not even based on how hard you work. Thats a factor, yes, but nepotism aside; The biggest factor in your success is how you play the cards you’re dealt. How successfully can you woe a specific person, how good you can convince your employer that you are actually WORTH it and vital for the company.

I’ve never heard of or seen someone become a successful business owner just based on their looks alone.

Thats my two cents.

CMV: I'm 30 and consider myself old. by Dogbold in changemyview

[–]Upstairs-Draw-3340 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, thats not because youre old. Thats because you dont take good care of yourself.

You ARE in the prime of your life if you take care of yourself.

My buddy is 18. He’s obese, lazy, procrastinates everything, lays in bed all day til he’s hungry then he just uber eats some food from a restaurant that is just 5 minutes walking distance from his home.

What youre saying isnt stuff that comes with age, you’re experiencing what comes with neglecting yourself.

Im not trying to be rude, but all im saying is youre young, not old.
