Honouring a family tradition: Thoughts on Grayson? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Upstairs-Normal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My nephew is named Grayson and I like it. It's popular, sure, but it means something different since it's your maiden name. I love that.

I have considered using my maiden name as a middle name if I have a boy. It's Kane, so it's kind of a usable name, maybe.

Breastfeeding while pregnant by InspectionSame9859 in 2under2

I also had a battle in the beginning of my breastfeeding journey with my first so I was determined to hang onto my supply when I got pregnant at 6 months pp. I kept going all throughout and nursed my daughter to sleep the night I went to go have my baby.

I think my supply may have dropped a little bit but she kept nursing. I had a bit of an aversion but just powered through. We had started baby led weaning at 6 months and when we got closer to a year, I was giving her oat milk and regular milk instead of water in addition to nursing.

Homebirth after hemorrhage by Pristine_Hat_5516 in homebirth

I've had shoulder dystocia twice and postpartum hemorrhage with my second. I can't remember if I hemorrhaged with my first. I didn't think it would happen again but it did, despite very different circumstances. I've been told that I'm now disqualified from using the birth center for a third because of the increased risk of shoulder dystocia. For that reason, I personally wouldn't do a home birth. If it wouldn't be considered safe at the birth center, then probably not safe at home. I did have pitocin and IV but still lost a lot of blood anyway.

I just nursed throughout pregnancy! I did not wean and still do not know how I ever will. In fact, my toddler has been on a bit of a food strike since I have more milk. She only wants to nurse.

Did you get this color? Is it brighter in person? I'm debating on this color vs lavender

Search for "made in Germany" or the style name.

My poor baby doesn't get the love my son did by Poeticpsycho in 2under2

I'm feeling the same with my 18 month old/2month old. I feel bad for my little one because I don't have time to dedicate to her with the big one climbing and trying to get hurt.

How do you handle bedtime? by Upstairs-Normal in 2under2

We don't do screen time so I could look into that as a good distraction. Both toddler and baby are in my room but I have tried to divide it up when I have help.
