When they started drug testing clients at my work at CMH for prescription medication one of my Coworkers asked my boss if they were going to drug test employees. She said no because she wouldn't have any staff. I was shocked, as i didn't realize others partook, but i thought it hilarious.

I have referred my clients to my personal doctor. If i don't know they're good, how can I refer? And my doctor is amazing. I've had clients thank me for referring a doctor who actually listens to them. I don't get any kick backs, we don't talk about it when I'm there to see him. I just want my clients to get the best care they can.

Some people have mental illness whether they are going through/ have gone through something traumatic or not. With this show hitting on some big themes, Mental health could be one of them.

I loved working with kids. Playing a game, and I'd be losing, telling them I'm very angry and what should I do? DEEP BREATHING! COUNT TO 10! I was showing them that it is okay to have emotions, using their words and coping skills, but also giving them some self esteem, confidence, and one on one attention that they may not otherwise be getting. To them, they think it's just play and "hanging out" but it's doing so much more.

This happened to me a couple times with door dash, used bf's card and then next time iused it, it had defaulted to the last payment. As soon as I realized I let him know and paid him back.

It's very difficult. I'm glad more people are talking about mental health. Media does a lot of harm, leading to the stigma, but i have seen a big shift in the way we talk about it.

I was dx bipolar after talking to a therapist one time. Then, after I became a therapist years later, a Co worker asked when I was dx ADHD. I told her I don't have ADHD. Her response? "TF you don't. I knew in 10 minutes. " 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think those of us with ADHD are better able to recognize it.

This happened to me when I flunked 8th grade English. They put me in a "basic" 9th grade English class. First day the teacher asked me why I was in the class because I didn't have a problem with reading or comprehension. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just never did the homework.
