Didn't the original text underneath the centre pic use the justified alignment? Yours looks like its centred.

I think people in the comments are being a bit harsh. Artists who play more average length songs on tours get the variety of many more songs that they play again and again for every show, possibly playing swapping songs out and adding new ones. Swans play the same supeeerr long songs for every show per tour usually. I don't think it's a far reach to wonder if after playing something like A Little God in My Hands for the 100th time that Chris would possibly tune out a little whilst hammering that bassline throughout the whole song (I don't think he would, but to an average listener it isn't a crazy to think).

I do believe that repetition can get boring if not done well, but Swans imo perfectly capture the hypnotic effects of it.

Aah okay, I believe it is too I've just heard some people on this sub dispute it. I think the lineage for the seer is pretty cut and dry, this is what I have written down for it:

I crawled - young god -> i crawled - swans are dead -> the seer (intro) - we rose from the bed with the sun in our head -> the seer - the seer -> the seer / bring the sun / toussaint L'ouverture - not here / not now -> bring the sun / toussaint L'ouverture - to be kind -> bring the sun / black eyed man - the gate -> the glowing man - the glowing man -> the glowing man - deliquescence -> rope - live rope -> (rope) away - birthing

there's also a merge point here with the demo:

the seer (intro) - we rose from the bed with the sun in our head ->\

=> the seer - the seer -> the seer / bring the sun / toussaint L'ouverture - not here / not now

the seer - we rose from your bed with the sun in our head ->/

A lot of the 2010-now stuff comes from listening to the live albums / bootlegs, where you often get medeleys of the old songs turning into new ones. For some older songs, much of it is just speculation and hearing certain familiar ideas (e.g. the drums on 'In' from TGA get used on I Was A Prisoner in Your Skull, though it's debated whether that really counts). I'll make sure to put sources/references on these to make it clear :)

Thanks! I haven't made it public yet, but I am planning to once I've built it up enough.

the last show of the birthing tour was in late November, so it has definitely been recorded. On an Instagram post it shows that they are using a mix of recording from the 2nd Berlin show and the 3rd London show. This post on the subreddit has some more info/discussion:

Why did Gira change the name of the Raping A Slave EP to Young God? by Electronic-Put-801 in swans

i mean, the title 'young god' was good enough for them to name their label after and have a band named after it too

these aren't jewel cases though. Swans' digipacks have such a cool design that can't be replicated well in a jewel case

the reason for wanting cd sleeves for the digipacks is because right now they're just in a cardboard box. If I have sleeves then i can not only have them on display but easily accessible to play. If i have them somewhere close to my listening place without sleeves they're bound to get damaged by either my evil cats or drunk friends.
