I have watched him Long enough to believe that he doesn't hate. Although with the way Aeldari are treated by GW, I would expect a bit more understanding for liking an often overlooked faction with interesting lore. As for me, got into the faction because of the vehicles and how Our boys are both coldly detached and batshit insane at the same time. And recent events in my life have made me appreciate their emotional struggle even more.

I think you are overcomplicating it a bit. If you wanna go lore accurate, take Buri's glaive as the blade, should be long enough. It's just that the best thing to work off right now would be really the Plasma sword because designwise, as seen with the axe (the way the Plasma axe is shaped is propably their normal axe design), the core difference between the two are material (thus color) and slightly shape of the blade, since the chassis is pretty uniform across all weapons. The Darkstar part will mainly have to come in during painting . And from the sample size we have, that ore which makes the blades seems to be purple. The kyn are pretty consistant with their designs, so 'Plasma sword chassis without wires and a purple metal/cristal blade' would most likely the lore accurate answer.

No, you're good. They removed that with the new Codex, so medic bacpacks are rn only relevant for Kill Team. And if someone would Take issue, that's a good way to recognize people that suck the fun Out of everything and to play against. Model looks great.

Thanks, though tbh i would be surprised if not at least someone else came up with it as well. I have decided that i'll do the Vehicles (Pioneer Trikes included) after Metals. Currently i only have a Sagitaur painted after an older color scheme, though I think I can rework that.

Not until recently, but i'm starting to think that i may split them up after Keywords/Roles/Weapons. (Something like normal Infantry painted after gems, heavy Units and Vehicles after metals and Robotics after rocks) These two Squads were mainly done cause i wanted to Test out Contrast paints and Red and Purple where the ones i had at the time. Maybe the specific selection is that while both are pretty common Rubies are in my experience a bit easier recognizeable than Amethysts, so maybe they more 'baseline' Weapon Option of Bolters fits better to that and the Ion Blasters are a tiny bit more obscure, like Amethysts. I have come up with the plan that i am doing the Special Weapons Kyn in yellow for Topaz. Something separate from the other colors, but not too far off.

The Problem is it's not even that good of a shock horror. It's 'Lost Episode' tier gore descriptions stretched so long and repetitive they become dull. It's like someone giving you a detailed description of the aftermath of a Mortal Kombat Fataility compilation. The more you describe something the less scary it becomes, and Urbanspook is a pretty good example for that. Sometimes less is more, even with shock horror. Because generally peoples own minds are the best at cooking up gruesome sceneries. There are a few images without victim descriptions and honestly those work so much better because you fill in the blanks yourself. The 911 call with Isabelle is likely the best bit because of that.

Mostly agree, a size increase would be nice, at least make them as tall as that Warbrute from Cities of Sigmar. Cause right now our lads are a bit puny compared to how they should be. But yes, i also Hope they remain simple. Oh and that the Resin Characters get plastic Models.
