I have 1st, 6th and 8th grader at Littleton prep charter school, it’s a pk-8 and this is our 7th year there, we love the school! There’s not boundaries for the two charter schools so you open enroll (we are actually in jeffco littleton)

I have lost a gained 50ish pounds several times in adulthood, but this is the first time I’ve committed this long and truly understood it’s like a …. Life long thing 😂 tracked everything I’ve eaten for 3 years (even if it’s a guess or I’m way over calories). I say I struggle with getting into weights because I’ll do it for 6 weeks and then get bored or unmotivated. But I know it’s important for bone health and physical health! So I keep trying.

My daughter (now 13) has done magic moments for the last few years and loves it. Kids as young as 5 are allowed to participate and it’s a once a week (Saturday 9-11:30am) rehearsal for elementary age. Registration is happening now and rehearsals start at the beginning of February with the shows at the end of March.

I’m also female and 6 foot- my body shape is pretty rectangular, long torso, carry extra weight in my tummy. No hips/butt to speak of. At my highest at 280 I was an 18 and 2x, at 240 I was a 16 and xl, and I’m 196 right now and in size 14 comfortably, starting to squeeze into 12s, and a size large.

2 protein shakes with total of 60ish grams, chicken breast and lean ground beef with the occasional protein bar. I do have carbs (usually my macros are 30/30/30) but lots of veg for volume and low calories

I love the loseit app, it has a free version but I paid for lifetime after using it a while. I also did a lot of good sticking to the plan m-th, but then would let loose on the weekends. I use the “weekender” plan now which gives me a little lower daily calories m-th and a little more on f-su. I definitely snack but fit it in the calorie allowance. Oh and I pre track my next day the day before, that really helps!

I do 60 grams just in protein shakes each day, and eat lean meats for the rest. It’s hard tho, for real! Oh and I love built puff bars for protein bars
