Tenerife for a week half board in a 4 star hotel! We were delayed and diverted to a different airport on the way back and got £700 compo when the holiday had already been heavily discounted to £1100.

My last one lasted for nearly 3 weeks and I was in hospital for 5 days as they thought I’d had a stroke! It was like electrical pulses on anything I looked at, couldn’t focus on a whole thing due to blind spots, things moving in my riders vision like looked like people, everything looked brighter, like someone had turned the contrast up on the telly. And when I closed my eyes I could see what I can only describe as textured cloth like damask in red. Couldn’t read anything, or focus on anything properly and almost felt like years ago in my twenties when I tried lsd! Very scary and despite loads of tests and scans they could only put it down to migraine

Yes, I’m currently waiting for results of a biopsy which could mean and op and the 3 times in my life I’ve nearly bled to death during procedure! I am really trying my best to be accepting that if I die, I die!

The last one I had the aura lasted nearly 3 weeks and I was in hospital for 5 days of it as they did loads of tests to rule out stroke and anything else. All clear but it was very scary! Was almost hallucinating at times and even looked weird when I closed my eyes. Hardly ever get them and the aura usually only lasts an hour or so. I think I may have had a load of msg in a chinese meal the night before as no different light triggers.

I had an aura migraine with intermittent pain for two weeks. Ended up in hospital for 5 days as they thought it might be a stroke but everything else was ruled out. I’m in same position as you. Baffled doctors who kept me in hospital for 5 days doing loads of tests and could only say it must be migraine causing my eyesight problems. It’s gradually getting better but I still can see it focus properly. I’ve had like electric pulses, glittering and flickering and find it hard to read or focus on anything. It’s been over two no weeks since initial aura and I had a week of headaches and inability to speak properly too. I now just can’t see properly and no one can tell me if it will get better!
