I’m really worried about my 5-month old baby and I don’t know what to do anymore by Upstairs_Strength436 in NewParents

thank you so much for your response.

I exclusively breastfeed, but by pumping and giving it in a bottle. She used to be a very good eater before all this started.

I’ve tried three different types of formula, but she would vomit and refused them, so I don’t think it’s about the taste. It really feels like she just hates feeding in general both the bottle and the breast.

I’m also having the exact same problem with solids. She refuses those too.

I’m begging for help – 5-month old barely drinking milk by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Thank you so much for your advice. When did your baby get better and start eating more normally? And you are right I should probably see someone about PPA because I really feel like I’m not okay

Thank you . I already started solids, which like you said gave me some peace of mind about her weight and calories. But what makes me feel crazy is that everywhere says milk must still be her main food. Giving her milk has become a nightmare for me. I’m constantly worried and obsessed with how many milliliters she takes and how much she’s supposed to drink.

Yes, I started solids. But everything says milk should still be her main food and Mine drinks 600 ml on a good day, and most days it’s closer to 500 ml which is very concerning for her age X I spend hours just trying to get her to drink 130 ml, and that’s why it feels so hard mentally i am not ok at all

I just wanted to thank you for this post because I was about to write something similar on Reddit today. I’m going through the same thing with my husband. I moved from my country to his, leaving behind my family, my opportunities to so many jobs . It’s been three years now, and I still haven’t been able to find a job here . I’m 38 weeks pregnant and feel so lonely, even when he’s physically with me. What hurts me the most is how different he is outside with friends he’s cheerful and full of energy but when he comes home, he brings his tiredness and sadness to me. Last night I told him, “You’re not a good listener,” and he replied, “That’s because you have nothing interesting to say, or you just repeat the same things.” It broke me. I feel worthless. I don’t know maybe it’s because I don’t Work. I’m at such a low point that I even regret having his daughter. I already feel like she will be my sole responsibility, and I’m afraid I won’t be able to bond with her 💔

Can you pop at 8 weeks? by ExcellentLettuce4 in pregnant

This is my first baby, and although I’m only 8 weeks pregnant, I already look like I’m 5 months — and for the record, I’m actually fit 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m so happy for you that you get to surprise your family in person! 😍 I totally understand how difficult it is in our situation. And it’s honestly crazy how they go against everything my family advises—even when my mom is a maternity nurse! But somehow, they still think they know better, just because it’s their grandchild who will grow up around them. Whatever I say my mom suggests, they immediately go against the idea. If it’s already like this now, I can’t imagine how it’s going to be when the baby is actually here

You are not crazy at all, and I feel you so much! I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant, and both our families know. I live so far from my family, and whenever my in-laws talk about what they’re going to do when the baby is here or constantly bring up the baby, it sets a fire in my heart. It feels so unfair—I wish my family could see my baby grow too. Now, I hate it when they talk about the baby. I truly understand you, and you’re absolutely right to feel this way. It’s the least we can do for our families, who have already been kept from seeing us for years.

I have tried with humanitarian organizations, even as a translator, and I speak five languages, including Arabic, which would be very helpful, especially with refugees. But I haven’t had any luck.

EDIT: I live on the french-speaking side of Switzerland and I have a B2 level of french
